Ttc after an early miscarriage, any advice appreciated

hi everyone, my husband and I were delighted we'd conceived baby #3 3 months after having my mirena removed. Unfortunately I miscarried at around 6 weeks, my bleeding started on 6th July and ended on 15th July, my hcg levels never got above 143 so they left my system pretty quick, by the 18th I was having bfn at the drs. I wondered when should I expect my AF? before the mc I was always 28 days bang on! I have had no symptoms for AF, although I have had really bad heartburn for 4 days, this was my first symptom last time too, so could I be pregnant? I'm useless at working out dates and cycles and ovulation etc..... we bd'd on 15th July and have been pretty consistently b'ding every other night since then with the exception of a couple of days. when should a test show bfp given all these dates? thanks for taking the time to read, hope someone has some advice for me x

Mrs A, even with man flu if he's anything like my hubby he'll still be up for a quick one "with no warm up" as my husband puts it!!!! Ha ha ha.

hmmm well, with man flu MrA finds it difficult to drag his carcass off the couch haha! He's aching all over and I'm back to negative opk's so prob too late today anyway....not looking good for this month unfortunately :( xx

Not much going on with me at the moment as still early on, not got to the opks even yet. Starting this weekend tho me thinks, Saturday will be cd10.

Ok so, 2 days of the faintest line ever. Thought today it would be darker but still the same. Off to buy a digi one today. Felt convinced yesterday I was pregnant... Today, feel rubbish & annoyed at stupid cheap tests.

I had been using ovulation tests but have decided they make me into a crazy person! I have taken to using red wine instead

MrsRV faint lines on preg tests??? I thought you were getting negatives? Surely a line is a line ... ok I'm getting excited now! How many days post ov are you - if not due yet (I thought you said you weren't due til this Friday?) then lines are likely to be faint aren't they?

Greeneone I'm liking the red wine idea, definitely more relaxing than OPKs!

I don't know what's going on with me but last night it felt like my uterus was full of air ha!! such a heavy pulling feeling, it didn't come and go, it was there constantly and for about an hour I'd say, it's still a little crampy today. It's still waaay too early to test so will just keep plodding along, just wondered if any of you ever had that heavy pulling/bearing down sensation after ovulation or before AF? AF due on 13th so it's a bit early for me to have symptoms normally.

Sorry to change topic slightly but how long was your first AF after MMC? Mine came on Saturday late afternoon and seems to have stopped. Not sure if it is classed as a proper cycle or not :( According to my ovulation app (never ever thought I would have one of those) my ovulation most fertile day stays the same no matter how lone AF is. Doesn't seem right to me. Soprry for hi-jack. Feel free to oust me

hi, my first AF after mc was only 3 days long, pretty heavy but not heavier than normal. my AF Is always every 28 days, lasts 3 days and is heavy from beginning to end so it was a pretty normal AF to me.

greeneone from first day of mc my cycle was 37 days. I then had AF for 3 days from last Thursday, 3rd day pretty light, but think that's fine. Sounds like you have had AF to me ... we're probably in a similar place now, couple of days apart. I don't think ovulation is based on how long your AF is so your app should be good, but you can always use opks to help you identify ovulation. I'm going to start using them from CD 10 I think, so this Saturday.

Omg ladies I'm so sorry to leave u hanging! I did actually post but it hasn't shown up!

It basically said, reluctant to spend a million pounds on a test & then ended up with no time to get 1 anyway! Will wait til morning to see if line gets darker. I tested yesterday after posting and had 2 x faint lines & same today. Hubby says defo a line there so I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining it!

Ive been off line all week. Nothing new to report from me, I was sure AF was about to hit a few days ago, I had that dragging/sluggish feeling for a day. But no sign yet. Im only cd23, awaiting first af since mc so still early days for me.

I've been feeling crampy all day again, not sharp cramps though, more like heavy/pressure above public bone. not due AF til 13th but feels like it's coming in a couple of hours!!, feel full all the time too, sick of the waiting already :/ it's way too early for AF symptoms and waaay too early for pregnancy symptoms just need to know what this feeling is, never had it before! imagine you're lying down and have a ball sitting on your abdomen...that's what its feels like, constant, not coming and going...

no idea either :( going to make a Dr's appointment tomorrow to get it checked out, heartburn is back the last few days with a vengeance so will get my lansoprazole prescribed again, if it's safe for ttc that is!

My line is there again this morning but faint... And when I wiped after having a wee there was pinky blood. AF is due tomorrow so could well be a day early. Pissed off again now.

Nothing to report here, still in the boring bit ...

woke up this morning in absolute agony! got the kids off to school and had to lie on my bed, cold, sweating, shivering and crying! cramps were sooooo sore, never felt pain as bad since having gallstones! anyway I figure I'm constipated which NEVER happens to me as I have ibs and everything, I mean everything makes me have diarrhoea so this was a shock! still haven't gone but have no pains now.

so today, I have been sneezing non stop, must be coming down with something and still have that dragging feeling in my abdomen, can't get an appointment til next week :(

I'm terrified of every change in my body since my mc, it's driving me nuts!!

Oh god that sounds awful, you might have a virus or something - especially as u said hubby had been poorly too? Well I've had cramps all day & been pant watching. No more bleeding.... YET. Cramps are quite bad though so defo think AF is going to show up. Still tempted to do a digi test but no time to go out & get one now! We're away this weekend and I'm totally unorganised. Will take forever to pack. Booooooo.

MrsA that sounds a bit like a bug I had a couple of weeks ago. Really bad cramps and feeling sick but no V&D like you would expect. It was horrid! Hope you feel better soon, rest up.
