Ttc after an early miscarriage, any advice appreciated

hi everyone, my husband and I were delighted we'd conceived baby #3 3 months after having my mirena removed. Unfortunately I miscarried at around 6 weeks, my bleeding started on 6th July and ended on 15th July, my hcg levels never got above 143 so they left my system pretty quick, by the 18th I was having bfn at the drs. I wondered when should I expect my AF? before the mc I was always 28 days bang on! I have had no symptoms for AF, although I have had really bad heartburn for 4 days, this was my first symptom last time too, so could I be pregnant? I'm useless at working out dates and cycles and ovulation etc..... we bd'd on 15th July and have been pretty consistently b'ding every other night since then with the exception of a couple of days. when should a test show bfp given all these dates? thanks for taking the time to read, hope someone has some advice for me x

Actually, I've found the more we DTD the more we want to DTD. But now I'm worried we've been DTD too much and hubby's supplies haven't been given chance to re-stock! Ha! I have clearly made this up in my head but all the same.....!!!

I so want to be pregnant but terrified & I just have this horrible feeling I am destined to miscarry twice....

Can I be a late joiner, I have followed this thread for last few days and I think you are all on similar path to me. I had 2nd mmc early march, had 3rd mmc 2 weeks ago. Its left me heartbroken, was so sure it cldnt happen a third time, regular cycle of 28 days, had a bfp on cd 33, started bleeding cd 35. Went to EPU straight away and saw a tiny sac, but heavy bleeding continued, and had blood tests over a few days to confirm mmc. I havent waited for my next af to start ttc, Im counting cd1 as first day of bleeding. With previous pregnancies (5, with 2 DC) I havent used ov sticks, I just used calendars, my cycle is 28 days, so normally can time dtd 10_16 days and have normally fallen pregnant at longest 6 cycles.

I think Im ovulating already, pretty normal signs, 12-14 days after mc, we have so far dtd day 10, 12, 14. Like u Mrs A, Im marking the calendar, Im a woman possessed, dear lord if anyone was to look at my calendar its full of notes. My partner doesnt have a clue, he wants more kids, but I know best thing is keep him in dark as regards timings etc, I dont even tell him Im testing. All going well I get a bfp on 9/9. fingers crossed for us all. xx

awe MrsRV I have thoughts like that :( in fact before I had my mc I actually said to my husband that I had a feeling it would happen, I had my DD, then a mc, then my DS and another mc! I remember saying to him I hope it's not going to be like a pattern, baby, mc, baby, mc......yet, that is exactly what happened :( I just hope I have a sticky one this time round.

Well I've been quiet on here was really worried didn't ovulate ( so much so ) stalked eBay and have now bought the fertility monitor and then yday got positive ovulation test yay finishes work early and come home dtd sun night aswell and even got up at 5 with DH to try and get some in this morning - not so successful lol hopefully last two nights have done the job we even tried last night for round two but he says hrs empty hahhaa

Ov cd 16-17 ish so I guess I'm creeping into the 2 ww -hoping to send the monitor back or re sell of course.

BFP due the 7th-9th depending on. Cycle length what about you mrs a ....rv and Leon's

I probably shouldn't have shared so much with DH re times, tests lines, faint lines monitors vitamins etc etc but he mad for a baby too and I'm shit at keeping to myself he ok until I get the conceive plus out hahaha - did any of u ladies try it out I've tried most things this month so fingers crossed good swimmers xxx

Positive sounds like you've dtd at the right time - don't think I could hack 5am either!!!

MrsRV I'm in a place where I really want to pregnant again, but also know I am going to be so scared that I will lose it again so can completely understand how you feel. I kinda think there must be something wrong with me, but guess have to just put those thoughts to the back of my mind and keep fingers crossed.

I tend to share most info with my DH and I have him taking the wellman vits. I don't think he minds, although he doesn't seem too interested when I insist on showing him the temperature graph on my app, poor guy LOL.

I'm due on 1st Sept, but prob gonna test on 31st as long as AF doesn't show up early, so that's only 3 more none testing mornings to do! Planning a day / night out on the Sat (31st) so if I get a bfn can console myself with alcohol at least!

I am due to ovulate in 3 days, all going as it did before mc anyway! now I haven't had, or haven't noticed anyway, any ewcm!! I haven't done much research into ewcm so I'm a little lost, does everyone have to have ewcm to get pregnant? does everyone get it when they're ovulating? before or on the day? I'm starting to worry I'm not going to ovulate!

these questions seem a bit silly when written down :/ In my head they sounded quite reasonable!! so anyone clued up on ewcm and can put my neurotic thoughts into perspective......please?! xx

Cheesy smile yes I defo know that feeling I find before ovul I am very excited and when I think it's happened feel haven't done enough missed it and feel really depressed and want to give up as dreaded AF feel just needs to hurry up !!!

Mrs a I'm not the best to ask never noticed it before and fell pregnant and didn't notice it even when got a positive yday on opk so all women diff ... There does have to be some cm but as long as its inside to help keep the sperm swimming I believe it's ok ... The conceive plus helps as makes sure right condition for the sperm to live and swim to the egg lol you really can tell google is place I have been living in for a month or so now .... Hope it makes sense.

I am so moody and really do hope have dtd at right times bed broke tonight so no baby juice for me and I'm in a crank so have had a strop and he's asleep !!!

so who says romance is dead huh??....WHILST dtd tonight, I had to laugh when DH said "now for the most important part! Filling you up!!" have to admit, in hindsight, makes me sound like a car! we had a giggle anyway, got me out of my foul mood, which is lasting a little too long for my liking!

However, I am officially in the 2ww. Hate to admit it but not saying actual out loud and still shagging just in case.

AF due 6th September. Only a week and a half to go. Will blatantly cave & test early though.

Hubby just knows we have to shag, a lot, & he's happy with that funnily enough :-) don't tell him about my obsessive compulsive disorder for TTC Internet abuse and don't tell him what I'm doing when I lean over the side of the bed after DTD to put a heart on my calendar.

Ha ha ... I do that too with my app! To the point where DH has noticed so now I try and wait at least until he goes to the bathroom to update it!

I also update the app every morning with my temperature. DH gets annoyed with me coz thermometer makes a bleeping noise and he says it wakes him up - oh well!

On the EWCM front I think it's different for each person. I have noticed some a couple of days before ov but its not loads and like positive said as long as its in the right place it doesn't need to be visible on the loo roll / in you pants. I read a fertility friend kindle book which has quite a bit of info on all this - its free to download if you have a kindle, just search for fertility friend.

I'm sure I usually have snail trails all the time. This month nothing, as dry as a... Perhaps I'm just taking notice for the first time. Or perhaps I'm ovulating late. I had a couple of pangs of sore boobs today & a few period type aches. I've read they could be signs of ovulation... That's a bit of a bugger if it is late ov... Means 2ww may have become 3ww??

well, still no 'snail trail' for me either, at least not externally! I certainly haven't noticed it, but usually do every other month. I do have cramp today, more of a bearing down pressure cramp than a sharp one though! it will be what it will be I suppose :/ so frustrating.......I want a +opk and some slime please :D anyone else think the DH's have it easy haha xx

just to add, I did a opk today, in fact, 2 of them! first one had a very faint line which is negative and 2nd one had a stronger line which was not much different/lighter than the control line.....still a negative though! so annoying! I was willing it to just go that one shade darker. tomorrow is another day for pee collecting and dipping I suppose :/ xx

Have you guys thought about taking your BBT (basal body temperature) to pin point ovulation? It doesn't tell you when you're going to ovulate, but it does tell you that you have so you know when you can stop ddt quite so much! My tactic is to try to dtd every other day where possible after AF until I see the sustained temperature shift upwards which tells me I've ovulated. Also I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant this cycle because my temperature dropped yesterday and is still lower again today, when I was pregnant last month it got higher towards the end of the 2ww.

So CD1 for me today now - this is my first AF after the mc so keeping my fx its not too bad and hoping for a more normal and positive cycle this time round.

aaaaah!! another -opk!!! this is driving me insane!! maybe I ovulated early? or going to late? will keep testing obviously, tomorrow is the date I'm due to O so maybe it'll show up then...

Those bloody tests are more hassle than they're worth... I'm glad I haven't started. I'm addicted enough to pregnancy tests! I hope they are not causing you undue stress MrsA, last thing your bod needs xx
