Pathology lab silly question but confused on what day to go

The form sez to go day 4 -5.... I usually bleed for two days slightly when wiping and then heavy bleed for 3 days and then light medium flow for two days and then back to just a little on tissue for a day or so.

So if I'm suppose to have the blood test done day 4-5 and day 21... When should I start counting as the first day.

I was always told that Day 1 is the first day of consistent red blood. If it starts after 2pm you should count the next day as Day 1.

This was the advice given to me by my fertility clinic.

I knew that counting day 1 when af is at its heaviest but not if it starts after 2pm!

Some people say after 3pm and other say after midday, but my clinic told me 2pm!
