CM in the 2 week wait

Does anyone know what is normal cm in the 2 week wait? Should you have none at all or sticky or could it be any variety and mean nothing?
If anyone has the Toni Weschler book I'd be interested to hear what she says.

Hi Rubles,
I had lots of CM during my last 2 2ww's and remembered having the same when I was pg with Isaac, so did lots of internet research in hope of finding a site confirming that it was a sign of being pg but only found that its not considered reliable as an indicator (which was sadly true in both cycles for me). However, that doesn't mean that you aren't so am keeping everything crossed for you. Good luck!

Can really be any variety and mean nothing. It's quite common to get a brief patch of EWCM in the middle of the 2ww because you get another (although much smaller) oestrogen surge then.

I kind of know already that it can mean anything, I just thought I would ask on the off-chance.

I thought it might be a bad sign if you had any at all at this stage though. It's not ewcm that I have had - it is more the sticky variety I would say.

I was reading Toni weschler's book last night regarding this exact point; basically she says that it's very common to get cm, whether it is ew, or sticky/rubbery in the couple of days before your period is due. Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear...it wasn't what I wanted either...I'll get the book and quote it exactly later.

However, I know that some pg women also experience the same cm before a bfp! I think that the symptons of PMS and early pregnancy are so similar. It's a feckin' nightmare, if you ask me.

Hi guys just wanted to say when I was ttc all I did was go by my fertile time with my cm when I was in the 2ww I had alot of the rubbery variety and yes I got my bfp that month im due in jan. Good luck

Thanks for that www, that site is interesting. It doesn't matter how many months of this I go through, I still seem to be asking questions as AF approaches.

I often get CM in the two week wait but it tends to be the moist sticky creamy kind. TW said that this is quite common and can be due to a second LH surge during your cycle
