I know there are probably loads of similar threads, but I have googled and read so much about hcg levels, hpts and chemical pregnancies that my head is spinning. So here's my situation:

AF is 2 days late.

On day that AF was due I tested with 2 hpts (a Clearblue digital and a First Response) - both positive. Quite a strong line on the FR. This was early evening.

Yesterday (day after AF, again early evening) I tested with a Superdrug test - NEGATIVE :-( No line at all.

This morning (2 days after AF due) tested with First Response with first morning urine - very faint positive. Much fainter than the one 2 days ago.

Tell me honestly, does this sound like it could be a chemical pregnancy? I know I've had one at least before, but that time I was testing before AF was due and AF/bleeding ended up coming on at the usual time.

We've been trying for so long for this baby - I just can't believe that I am so close but that it is still so up in the air :-(

Are the superdrug tests less sensitive? I'm sure that I've read that they're one of the most sensitive but then I can't understand the results...
