Some insight on af and my cycle please :-)

Hello ladies,

Just wondering if anyone could offer some insight. We have been ttc for around 9 months. My cycles are normally quite regular 28 days. However the last 2 months I have experienced very little bleeding. Last month af came on cd23, just brown mucas and on the 2nd day I lost a very large clump of blood in the shower, which seemed to bring my period to an end. This month I had the normal 28 days but am now on 4th day of period and have only had brown mucas and absolutely no blood???

I should also mention that this month I had a 21 day blood test for ovulation and results were normal.

Sorry a lot of information but anybody have any clues to what's happening??

sorry mj I don't know the answer, I know sometimes cycles come on early, or become irregular, with stress?

At least you can be reassured thaqt your 21 day blood test was ok

I'm sorry, I don't know. If the first episode had happened later in your cycle, I might've suspected early MC, but I don't think so so early, and I haven't a clue about the rest. Go see your GP - if they feel a period needs to be induced, there are meds they can give you.

Have you taken a pregnancy test?

Thank you ladies. Starting to feel a bit sick with worry that something else is going on. I have taken a few hpt but all negative. Will make an app with gp.

I got pregnant (when a teen and terminated) and had similar symptoms. No home tests picked it up, but a blood test did.

There is a reasonable chance you could be pregnant, brown tinged mucus does not count as you period. Not all women get positive tests while pregnant, with your raised progesterone levels checked as normal this month you could be pregnant, either from last month or this!
