Hi all, I'm new. Married for 2 years. Been TTC #1 for exactly one year this month after being on Microgynon for around 10 years. If there's no joy this month, I'll be going to see my GP. Would appreciate hearing from anyone in a similar situation (even just for a moan!) and inspirational success stories. Xxx

Sorry your wait has been so long so far.

I am fairly new to this journey, but it might help others comment if you explain your approach so far. Dtd regularly? Temping? Opk's? Just letting nature take its course?

Hi! We're DTD very regularly (every day/2 days). Tried OPK's shortly after coming off the pill (2nd or 3rd cycle) but they didn't detect anything, may have been too soon after coming off the pill. Let nature take it's course for a while and now using the ClearBlue fertility monitor, which is showing my high and peak days exactly when I thought they were due to checking CM and bad ovulation pains. X

I honestly believe that hubby & I stopping every day and DTD every other day or every third day has worked for us both times - sadly last time was MC at 7 weeks but all the same, perhaps try DTD every other day for the whole time that you don't have AF. I was also a 10 years + of microgynon but luckily we haven't had to wait very long for BFP's both times. Good luck!!!!!!

Mrs Rv, we've tried doing it less too! I'm really sorry to hear about your MC, that must've been awful. Hope you're ok.

Thanks for the replies, this was my 1st post on MN, a bit nervous about joining in some of the long-running threads! Xx
