Boots OPK, anyone?

I bought a box of Boots OPK... Used as indicated, from day 6 of my cycle... and never got a positive. I got a faint 2nd line on a couple of days before my ovulation would have started, but never an actual positive.

Has anyone used them, did not get a positive result, and then got pregnant? I'm not entirely convinced they work as I don't have PCOS, am 29 years old and can't imagine why I wouldn't have ovulated...

Try the Superdrug ones. (ditto for the pg tests when you're POASing - they're one of the most sensitive tests available)

How about Clearblue ones? Are they any good?

I don't know personally, but haven't read good things about them on here tbh. The reason the Superdrug ones are good is because they're at least as good as the expensive brands and about a third of the price. They worked for me anyway :)

I think they all work the same. Except the clearblue advanced, which also picks up oestrogen.

I've read that some women never get a positive, but still ovulate and fall pregnant. Maybe opks just don't work for you and you could try looking out for other signs of ov or try taking your temperature.
