Confused! HPT on 28 day Cycle

Hi there,

I'm getting really confused with the maths of TTC.

28 day cycle - O on day 16, implantation takes 6-10 days, HPT 5 days after implantation.

So - AF due today but no sign - HPT yesterday negative. Lots of pregnancy symptoms.

When the hell do I test?!

I've read online that HPT only works about a week after implantation. I'd probably wait and test again in a couple of days.

It depends how sensitive your HPT is. The sensitive ones (10 miu/ml) can detect HCG three days after implementation. The implementation can happen between 6 - 12 dpo. Try testing again in a couple of days - HCG levels should double every 2 -3 days. Or perhaps you ovulated later than you thought?
