horney when ovulating???

Hey,
we've been ttc #1 for about 9months and to start with we were just shagging but in the last few months we've been a bit more serious about it. Not done opks or anything like that, we've got as far as apps on my phone.
I've recently noticed that when Im in my furtile window i get really horney, like proper up for it. I know that you should dtd every few days but I've found this really hard because I've been really wanting some (sorry that sounds so wrong!)
So what i wondered was am i causing a problem by dtd too often? I know some couples dtd every day, but I've never heard if this has worked for them.
Sorry this is really random and Im normally just a mn lurker so sorry if I've made a prat of myself, Im just new to this and wanted some input from someone who's been there.

Your are instinctively programmed to want sex more when ovulating because that's when you're most likely to get pregnant. Most people don't feel up for sex all month round but it's something we might have to do on our quest to have a baby, ha ha.

Yes this happens to me. Currently ttc baby no2 and have been for a year. Was casually just dtd whenever, but like you wanted to get pregnant so started with the apps. Tried opks too for a few months and dtd every day. Still nothing.
Hubby now quite stressed so we're having a little break from ttc and just enjoying dtd again. I secretly hope it works though!!!

I thought dtd every two days was a sensible approach to ttc without necessarily using opks? I hope I'm right, as that's what we're doing and I didn't want to resort to opks because I can imagine they are pricey!

Yep, every two days is recommended although a break during AP wouldn't make much difference! A sign of ovulation is clear cm so you could always increase dtd if you spot that. Good luck.

I've also noticed the same! And some months my body gets really cross with DH if we don't have sex when I'm horny. Mother Nature is a funny women.

Yea Im like that if dh is asleep and i want to dtd i get really annoyed, i always think its how a 15yr old boy feels hehe am so pleased Im not alone and a freaky shag hound type! Hehe

The pill has completely destroyed my libido so I'm actually looking forward to getting it back now I'm off it!
