I've been TTC #1 for a few months, DP has fertility issues so we suspect it won't be easy.

Nevertheless, this month I convinced myself we had conceived - I usually have a textbook 28 day cycle, but this month, I had spotting at 10dpo. Never had it before, and since becoming an obsessive MN lurker, I was sure it was implantation bleeding.

The spotting continued, just a tiny bit each day. I also had very sore boobs this is a normal PMS symptom for me but I conveniently ignored that and couldn't contain myself and told DP that I thought this might be the month. I also talked to my Mum about it, and of course both DP and Mum advised me not to test until AF was late. I was desperate to test, but managed not to.

But like a fool I allowed a glimmer of hope, and I really believed that this was it. Of course, AF turned up today bang on time and now I feel like an idiot.

So I wanted to write this as a cautionary tale - turns out even textbook cycles do weird things from time to time, just to confuse you. Anyone else done the same thing?
