I had a depo shot 9 or 10 weeks ago. Since I had it I have spotted a lot which I know can happen. However the past four weeks I've had back ache after doing very little and am peeing a lot especially at night

Am I crazy?

If you had the Depo, am I right in thinking you're trying not to get pg? Because it sounds more like you're hoping that you are pg....

There are plenty of other possible explanations for the symptoms you're describing - a UTI would be my first guess. But it's not impossible Smile

Would a uti not have other symptoms?

Being pg would not be fantastic as I have recently seperated from my partner and have three dc already the youngest is only 4 months

Not necessarily. Often, but not always. For example, if I get a UTI, it always goes straight to my kidneys, and that means I get back pain and feel generally unwell, but have no pain on urination or anything like that. Frequent urination can also in itself be a sign of a UTI - or of other kidney problems or diabetes. Might be an idea to POAS and if that's -ve, see a GP.

Ty

Can these symptoms be purely down to depo? I have seen posts on another forum suggesting they can?

I don't honestly know, I'm sorry. My knowledge of Depo is pretty limited.

Yes it can be depo symptoms. I was on it for several years and would often get hip ache (a typical pmt sympton for me) in the last few weeks before i was due another jab.
