Blood test results

Hi all :)
So I had a blood test last tuesday at the doctors ( to check for ov primarily but also anything that they need to rule out ( been trying over 7 months and I am 38)
Anyway I rang up on friday for the results and the receptionist told me that some parts were all clear ( I am guessing the thyroid etc ) but would not discuss the other bits ( progesterone bits ) with me . All she said was that it must have shown up something because I need to book an appointment with my doctor.
Is this normal ??
I cant get an appointment for another week so got no choice but to wait.
Anyone else had the same response ??

Hey. Didn't want this going unanswered. I can't be a hell of a lot of help as my situation is very different: I'm 24, have only been trying for three months, and have my Day 21 test next week. However, I just wanted to say not to worry: in the past, over blood tests for different things, I've been called in to see a GP, and it's invariably been nothing catastrophic, more of a 'this is fine, but this is a bit iffy, so we want to see you again if X happens'. Don't despair. It's not necessarily bad news. Fingers crossed! Flowers

Aah thanks :))
Tbh i am
Not too worried just curious I guess! Also the fact my sister has been on clomid etc... Is in the back of my mind too.
If I am being honest I actually have no idea what all the tests could mean so am looking forward to asking the doctor!
We will see! Xx
