Best day to have sex to conceive?

I'm due to ovulate on the 03/08 - is it best to DTD before or after ovulating?
Our sex drive isn't up to sex everyday!!

The 3 days before ovulation are the best for conceiving.

Research shows two days before ov is the best, but day before is good as well. On the day you might still have a chance, but don't just wait until that day, because once ov happens, the egg will only live for about 12 - 17 hours. Conception after ov day is not possible or very unlikely. Sperm can survive 1.5 to 3 days inside you, or even longer sometimes, so that's why it's best to do it before ov day.

you dont need to do it every day! Every other day or every 3 is fine. Better to just hav sex over the whole cycle, but before ov is better than after...

Earlier this month I guesstimated that I was ovulating on the 8th July.

Me and Hubby DTD on the 3rd, 6th and 8th = BFP
