Sooo I've not been great at taking the mini pill the past few weeks, especially as there's only a three hour window after which you're unprotected. DP and I have dtd a few times. The time I'm most worried about was the weekend of the 13-14 July, as I didn't take a pill all day. Very hard to track everything as I don't have periods.

I've felt a bit nauseous and noticed smells more over the past couple of weeks, but put it down to the heat. I've had BFNs every couple of days.

So I know you're probably thinking "You're obviously not pregnant Confused" but... Since Tuesday this week, boobs have felt full, heavy and now they are quite veiny.

I've breastfed 3 babies (still feeding one) so my boobs are always empty and, well, a bit saggy Blush. The only times I've EVER noticed them being full like this is just before I found out I was expecting DC2 and DC3.

So what is going on?! Am I testing too early, am I imagining things?

Help!

If you O'd around 14th July you'd only be 12 DPO which is early to test so there is a possibility. On the other hand it would be unusual to O immediately after missing a single pill wouldn't it?

Thanks for replying.

Im on norgeston, and I don't think it stops you ovulating as such... Just makes cm thicker etc so yes if you go over the three hour window you're basically unprotected. Another test today was a BFN but its so hard to wait another week! Aargh just want to know 100%...

Just had a bit of a google and it seems it does stop O in some women. On top of what you said it also affects the lining of the womb to stop implantation so it seems even if the sperm got through it would be unlikely implantation would happen. However as with everything there's a chance.
Likely you'd be getting a +ive result by tomorrow if you were going to get one. However you may want to go to the doc as I'm not sure what effect that kind of pill can have if you carry on taking it and you are pregnant. Good luck!

Thanks very much Not!

I've stopped taking the pill (and dtd!) just in case, and I'm going to test in the morning. If that's negative I've got an appointment to start the combined pill on Monday. I'll be able to relax when I have a regular cycle again!
