keep my gp said I was ovulating but I'm not sure anymore as the fc said the prog was actually too low. I think it's more of a case that my eggs just don't mature properly. My clinic does convert to ivf but only in extreme circumstances (not sure what counts as extreme!)

geek btw I have gone backwards in the treatment scale: my consultant said start with the big guns but the rest [IUI, super-ovulation] are still there, and the IVF will allow my response to the rest to be better anticipated. I got the same number of follies in IUI [3] as I did on my 2nd IVF, and that was 2 more than the first IVF go figure huh...

kitty yes, the treatment funding is available regardless of order. Decisions just get better informed based on the information available, eg I'd be looking at donor sperm instead of MrG's swimmers. Have just seen scarlett's post, she says it much better than me. Good luck for your scan tomorrow. I went for I think it was 8 days with what were described as 'very quiet' ovaries, then went to borderline OHSS over the course of the next three days, with 21 follicles counted towards the end. When they go, they really go - don't expect them to hang around once they've made their minds up to grow!

Had a seriously weird day here. Haven't been able to stop crying all day and no idea why, other than I am just generally fucked off with AF and not being pregnant and feeling like I am never going to know what it is like to be a mum. Walked out of the office early after a colleague's rude stupid comment and didn't bother going back. MrG got seriously pissed off with me this morning because I couldn't tell him why I burst into tears on the station platform on finding out I'd left my phone at home. Can only assume it is some delayed post-IVF hormonal fuck-up. Best scrub up before MrG gets back from the shops as I still can't explain the tears to myself let alone him.

beedle AF was so weird this time that even though we have been told there is no chance of natural now I still took a test on CD2 and possibly took another this morning but BFN. Temps are almost down to baseline, so it was no surprise really.

Thank you all for being so lovely yesterday. It really was a shit day, but thankfully just seems to have been a 24 hour thing. I've been able to read everything over without feeling like I'm going to start crying all over again. I'm a bit concerned about having walked out of the office and left my applications unsupported, but I'll face that music on Tuesday, as I have today off (legitimately) to go to a pie & ale festival. Yay, I know how to live life! Haven't had a drink in two weeks so I think I might wuss out after a couple of pints, but at least I will have tried :)
