TTC advise when ovulating.

Hi ladies I'm TTC gutted when my period came this month. So I bought some ovulation sticks, I've been looking at ovulation calendars but they all give different dates. My first day of period was the 16 th July and it was only 23 days part from the last on average 26 days. So it says by this Wednesday to start trying and next Tuesday I will be ovulating. So I was going to have sex every night lol my fella is loving this idea lol but is that a little over the top. Any advise I would be very grateful thanks in advance ladies x

Hi, not sure if it will help but I read a post on another site about how to tell when you are fertile, its all about recognising the bodies signs leading up to fertility. It may be worth a read and give you some help in establishing when is the best time to test? I found it very interesting! When me and hubby were TTC we knew it would feel very unnatural to DTD every night - I'm still not sure how anyone finds the energy

I had a rough idea of when I'd be ovulating based on my cycle lengths and then the day before my prediction I had some EWCM.

I ovulated on the 8th July and me and hubby had DTD on the 3rd, the 6th and 8th (I was keeping a note of the dates in my diary).

It ended in a BFP - so daily sex isn't always necessary

statistically you are more likely to get pregnant by having sex 2-3 times a week than just around ovulation day. it might also take the pressure of yourself to get the ov date right.
hopefully you will get pg quickly but as you monitor yourself for a few months your cycles and time of ov will become clearer.
