TTC #2 after Nexplanon Nightmare

Hello :)
I have been trying for baby number 2 now for 9 weeks. Me and my partner agreed to get the nexplanon out (after 2 depo shots and 35 days with the implant in) and start trying straight away. It's been 9 weeks and I'm not pregnant yet (impatient, i know). I've heard of women falling pregnant within a few weeks after implant removals. I've also heard some horror stories about it taking years to conceive after having an implant.

Can you please tell me your experiences/stories?

Hi, I had my implant removed on the 11th June and was told you are fertile immediately. I was also told you are more fertile in the first couple of weeks after having the implant removed.I still haven't had my AF. I've done 2 PG tests but both BFN. I've read mixed reviews on forums on when people's cycles seem to return to normal. Like you I've read the horror stories and I'm concerned whether the implant has caused me any difficulties. Prior to the implant I was regular to the point I could time when AF was going to arrive!

Fingers crossed for us both!

Any of you back to normal?

I had 3 days of spotting last week (8 weeks after removal). I did seek advice before this happened and apparently there is very little literature for medical professionals but the stats say 44/47 woman ovulate within 3 weeks of removal but it has been documented that it has taken up to 3 months for some women. I only saw a nurse who told me to book an appt with my doc around the 3 month mark
