Can FMU be stored for later testing?

I was wandering as I need to do a PG test today if I can store my FMU for like a few hours? Ive put it in a plastic bottle with a lid on with the intention of getting a PG test as soon as the shops open.

I am supposed to be having a few injections for travelling abroad such as typhoid and Im worried it will harm the baby so I thought I should test and make sure Im not PG. I am a little worried though as I have been trying for a baby and have had what seems like implantation bleed but I might not be far enough on for a positive result.

Anyone help me with this?

Yes it can definately be stored. Put it in the fridge and then make sure it is at room temperature again before you test by getting it out 30 minutes before.

but you can test with any wee of the day .. as long as you leave 4 hours between wees .. it doesn't have to be first thing in the morning

I know I can use other urine in the day but Im worried it wont give an accurate result. Also Im worried I might not be far enough on for a result to be accurate so I want to do as much as I can to make the result right.

personally I think you'd be better off with 'fresh' than refrigerated and brought up to room temp

but its your decision

How exciting are your overdue your period?

Its difficult to say if Im overdue my period as I have PCOS. My last period was October last year. I use www.mymonthlycycles.com to track my cycles and it told me I was due in March as it works our dates and ovulation and things for you but Im not going by that. I had what seemed to be implantation bleed about a week ago nearly.

Will let you know how I get on. Have to dash so Im not late for the appointment, WISH ME LUCK!!

Though Im not sure what for as if I am pregnant it means I cant have the jabs and go to the Carribean! Dont know what I want...going crazy now....better go.
