Hi all, &fellow newbies :) we're going au naturel to start with, more recently doing temps &charting & opk cheapy sticks (went for the GU dish as my special pot) had loads of pregnancy symptoms the first couple of months after coming off the pill which is just plain evil of the body when starting out ttc!but they've settled down thank goodness. After 6 months & no bfp we got OH checked due to his coeliacs and he's "normal" so it must be me! Lol thinking about trying acupuncture & found a healthy diet book to improve fertility, so currently trying juice recipes & consuming vast quantities of salad!(OH is quite enjoying trying out the new juicer but not sure how long his enthusiasm will last).

Weather here is just like my mood, dark and miserable

Snow I love a bit of juicing, the only problem is cleaning the bloody thing afterward! Jason Vale's got some great recipe books although to be honest I just chuck anything in and hope for the best . Favourite has to be apple, mint, lime, cucumber and fennel blended with avocado though - sounds gross but don't knock it til you've tried it!

snow how good is your dh's gluten free diet? Even small amounts of gluten sneaking in can affect him, even if he otherwise feels ok (I'm a dietitian)

Well my drugs get delivered tomorrow by currier and the injectable has to go strait in the fridge. Dh thinks he's getting the morning off work but I've asked for the first delivery haha

Merk Not quite worth pimping yet here. Determined to join you and Thunder this month though so will probably get my pot out soon although realistically no chance of a result before Friday at the earliest. I've put all my positivity into this cycle so if it doesn't happen I will be one gutted Boom!

Aquarius mine's a Philips wide chute juicer, don't know the model number. It's pretty good, takes a whole apple at a time so you don't have to faff with chopping everything up small. Think it was relatively pricey but I've had it two years now and it's still going strong.

Hello Berries and newbies! Another extended leave of absence from me. Moved into our new house last week and are without internet till next Friday; annoyingly the mobile signal here is rubbish too currently burning through my office mobile data allowance to get a catch up with all things internet!

House is awesome and we have so much space. I started house hunting at Christmas, about the same time as we decided to TTC, so its a bit depressing that we are still TTC now, when I'd thought we would be at least some of the way to filling the house!

Hi snow and fox. fox I'm like you in that I wasn't on the pill before starting TTC, and now at the end of cycle 7; it's nice to see someone else in about the same place as me....

AF/BFP due Wednesday/Thursday and no symptoms to spot at all, AF or otherwise. I don't keep HPTs in the house, but might try an OPK, need to keep myself amused and distracted from unpacking boxes!

Every time I've had a bfp I've had a line (not fully positive) on an OPK 2 - 5 days beforehand

Best of luck for the bfp this week kuma. It's strange reading on here about those coming off the pill and waiting for their cycles to regulate. I'm obviously thankful that I didn't have to wait for that too, but also think I've had more "proper" ttc cycles than some so it should've happened for me by now IYSWIM?? Ah well, I'm sure August will be our month

We've been house hunting too and should be moving into our new house within the next few weeks hopefully! We'll be moving from a very small flat to a 3 double bedroom house so can't wait to have lots of space!

bunny I'd save your money tbh. I often find a lot of nutritionists aren't very well governed so they can say what they like without referring to str

strong evidence (whereas I'd get struck off if I did that!). It's basically good old healthy eating and regular exercise. My Dh takes a supplement but diet is meant to be preferable as it has a better bioavailability (it's absorbed better). So lean meat, fish (inc some oily if poss), fruit and veg, whole grains, nuts and seeds and low fat dairy

OPK says noooooo! But then I'm only CD19 or 20 (bloody phone deleted my calendar and I can't remember exactly which day this cycle started!) so will not allow this to dampen my spirits because I am of course diffed but just don't know it yet
