Hi all new to this so here it goes really sorry if tmi

I have my periods every 28-30 days (with the odd one being 30-32days) my last period started on 30th June and lasted until 5th July.

Im told the average ovulation is aprox 10-16 days ... but would this be counted from 30th june or 5th july?

I had unprotected sex on 11th July

Likely to be ovulating on/around this time?

any answers plz xx

Day 1 is the first day of your period so 30th June. Therefore 11th July could very possibly be around your ovulation. Sperm can also last up to 5 days so if you ovulated just after then pregnancy is still possible.

Is this what you wanted to hear?

10-16 days is the average luteal phase (so time between when you ovulate and when you have your period). But obviously these are averages and watching out for your own fertile signs would give you an idea of what your cycle is like.

Yes it's possible that you were fertile when you had sex. You are considered fertile for a few days before and a few hours after you ovulate as sperm can hang around for a while.

Update: I have had a upset stomach for about 5-6 days now with a dull achy feeling in lower stomach and lower back. Anyone else have this before a possitive test? Period not due for another 8-10 days so too early to test x
