another ovulation or something else?!

I ovulated early this month at cd11, now yesterday at cd16 (5dpo) It started around 4 and went on til 10pm watery/jelly brown then red cm when I wiped and a little on pants (sorry). Normally when I ovulate it doesn't last as long as that.

Any thoughts or advice would be great.

Hello, I'm not exactly sure how it works either. Spotting can be caused by the egg bursting through or by the dip in oestrogen just after ovulation. 5 dpo is therefore a bit late. Saying that, I had a day of bleeding 4 dpo but was in a long cycle.
Are you sure you ov'd at cd 11?

If you're worried or it happens every months, maybe go see your GP.

I would like to say I'm sure but who knows! Thats been two days now I'm getting this weird cm I was hoping implantation!

5dpo would be very early for implementation. It is possible but uncommon to have it at 6dpo, but most women have it around 9-10 dpo.

I later read that oestrogen dip can occur 2-5 dpo, so that might be it, but then again I don't know why you would have it this one time. Maybe something to do with early ov and it's just a bit of an odd cycle?

I'm still getting some pink jelly when I wipe thats 5,6 and 7 dpo.

If it is a later ovulation, mine never last this long and don't look anything like this.
It could just be an odd cycle! Af is due Sunday so will just have to see what happens.

How do you know you ovulated at 11 dpo? I was just thinking that maybe you ov'd later than you thought or indeed it's just an odd cycle.

Are you basing your ovulation day on the day you got a smiley/positive line on the OPK test? I used to get positive tests two days in a row, which indicates a surge of ovulation hormone. Ovulation happens 24-48 hours after the surge as far as I remember, so it could've been ovulation. If you really are 7dpo now then you can start testing on a First Response or high sensitivity internet cheapy preg test strip from 10dpo. The CM you describe does sound very much like implantation, but it seems too early from what you say. Have you had any sharp pin prick burrowing/drilling type sensations? That's another early sign of implantation.

I started getting my usual ewcm on cd8 and watery cm cd9 dried up on cd10 but more watery cm on cd11 dtd both nights. I usually ovulate anywhere between 12 and 14 with they symptoms and it just seemed to come a lot earlier than usual. The rest of my cycle cm has just been creamy. I don't use opk's I've just been going with cm.

Today I had cramp then a strong ache in my left ovary which lasted 30 mins and getting cramp again just now feels like I'm going to start af.
