Hello
I'm 37, TTC first child for 7 cycles with the clearblue monitor and opks. No luck yet, and a bit concerned as it looks like my luteal phase is usually between 8-11 dats, so have booked an initial appointment with GP for next week. Want to get the ball rolling as I imagine referrals Etc for tests will take ages. General health for me and DH is pretty good.
Any tips/questions to asks? Thanks

Don't let them fob you off and tell you to wait more time. After 35, you should be referred after 6 months of trying. The gp can do some basic hormone blood tests and get your partner to have a sperm analysis. Good luck.

I wouldn't take evidence of your luteal phase etc - my GP didn't have a clue. I would take the history of your cycles while TTC ie 14th May- 15th June.

Stand your ground if they say anything funny and say you're not leaving without a referral! :)

Tell GP you have been trying for longer than you have to avoid the 'come back in another 6 months' fob off.

Thanks all, it seems you have to be wiley!
I had a feeling they might be sceptical if I bring too much info...
