How do you all manage to keep it exciting when you know the sex is perfunctory?

This is only mine and my DH's first cycle of TTC and already it is feeling like a job!! (a very fun one though) Smile

Prior to going to bed last night he was telling me that he was tired and I told him he needed to wake himself up because we had a baby to make Grin

We decided that we would have a quickie and "just get done what needs to be done" so he could then go to sleep Grin He said there was no time for a 'Full on Session' Grin Everything we say is tongue in cheek though and we do have a laugh about how organised it is!!

When we actually got to bed we just burst out laughing because we couldn't find a way to just naturally start DTD. At one point amidst my giggles I shouted out, "This is the worst sex ever and it hasn't even started yet!!!" hahaha. This of course made him start giggling and then we couldn't stop for ages!!

We obviously found a way to calm down and we did DTD - but the whole thing just keeps making me laugh Grin Grin

I have told him we are DTD every other day until AF arrives!!!

Or doesn't arrive hopefully!!! Grin

Grin hahaha Grin

Because I have no idea when ovulation is occurring or even if it has occurred I'm taking the approach of having sex as much as possible to make sure I don't miss the window Grin

Poor hubby is tired!!! Grin
