Hi everyone. I have just the Merino put in 4 weeks ago. My concern is I had my normal period 4 weeks ago and since then nearly everyday I have had spotting. Now i have my period again. I have check with the dr and she said this is normal when you first have it. Hopefully the spotting this time around is not everyday!

When I had my Mirena put in I think I was spotting on and off for about 4-5 weeks. It wasn't particularly a hindrance and I had been told to expect it anyway.

After it had stopped my periods then regulated. I'd have one every 4-5 weeks, it would last about 3 days and would be very light spotting that barely even justified a sanitary towel.

Hang in there, it'll be worth it in the end x
