According to my rough calculations, I ovulated on 30 jun, we dtd on 2 July but today I feel rough, nausea(no vomiting) sore boobs for a couple of days... AF is due next Wednesday. Surely I couldn't be experiencing symptoms this early could I?

[worried face]

If you ovulated on 30 June, having sex on 2 July is unlikely, though not impossible, to result in pregnancy. The egg only lives for around 12-24 hours after ovulation without fertilisation.

Of course if you got your dates wrong it is entirely possible!

I'm sceptical about early symptoms, but that's just me. I'm currently 6 weeks with my first (after 3 years of TTC) and all I've experienced are a few minor cramps and occasional tiredness.

I think it's unlikely you'd have symptoms this early tbh...but not impossible. When is AF due?

seatfor5 · 08/07/2013 21:23

Should say my boobs are still killing and feel very heavy though Hmm

oh crap wrong thread sorry lol!

I have 3 DS DS1 was a surprise so wasnt spotting but I knew that I was Pregnant the day AF was due. DS2 & DS3 I had symptoms from 5dpo I had very sore breasts, back pains, cramps & smells seem to go mental! I have read that the progesterone rise can effect some women more than others so good luck x

Meant to ask Mrs Morton, have you been pg before? Supposedly you feel the symptoms/see the signs/'just know' sooner when you've been pg before. I know I did. So possibly, if this isn't your first pg and you're very in-tune with your body...

Mrsmorton · 09/07/2013 10:08

No, never been pg before. Thank you ladies, I'll try to put it out of my mind til next weds and POAS then!!
