Hi, I know I am not the only one, but why does it feel like I am?? I'm new to this site so not really sure about abbreviations ect. Iv been married for a yr and We have been ttc for 7 months with nothing each month comes and goes then you wait to ovulate and then wait to see if af arrives its getting a little frustrating and becoming very routine. My cycle is 33 days and I have no idea if this is to long? Has any one else concived with a 33 day cycle?? Sorry if you have read the same type posts over and over. But when eveyone on the planet appears to be having baby's can't believe how alone you feel. Thank you :)

Yes me - 3 times. My cycle could be anything from 27 days to 42 - it varied from one month to the next. It took us 9 months to conceive our first dc, about 4 for the 2nd and the 3rd one arrived without us even trying. Since baby No 3 my cycle has been as regular as clockwork thanks to oral contraceptives!

Hi frustrated, sorry you're struggling - I was exactly where you are with a 38 day cycle thinking it wouldn't happen without help, especially as I'm just turned 40 but it happened eventually and I'm now 36weeks pregnant. Relax, enjoy and good luck Thanks

Hi, just wanted to say, I have a 33 week cycle and am now 22 weeks pregnant after 7 months of trying.
Have you been using ovulation tests? We dtd every other day and twice a day near ovulation and that's how I fell pregnant. It does feel like an uphill struggle but you'll get there.
Good luck!

Hi Frustrasted. I can promise you you're not the only female on the planet having a baby. It seems like that, but that's not the case at all. I am certainly not having a baby. A.F arrived to day. xxx

Prior to having my Mirena Coil my periods were always on a 35 day cycle.

Whilst I had my Coil I still had periods but they were hit and miss with the dates and it was more like spotting for 5 days as opposed to having a menstrual bleed.

I had my Mirena removed at the end of May and my first period to arrive after that happened on day 32 or 33 of my cycle.

This is my first month of actively trying to conceive but I'm pretty much guessing when ovulation day is as I'm pretty sure my cycles will be all over the place for a few months after my coil removal.

I'm currently on cycle day 14.

We DTD on Cd 12 and we will now be doing it every 2-3 days with the hope that something may happen and my period will never arrive.

I would estimate my period would be due on 22nd July - but it is a shot in the dark guess really.

But I'm crossing my fingers for a BFP on my first attempt at TTC, lol
Because I'm just that lucky..... Smile

My cycles range from 35 to upward of 60 days generally!

We're charting though and with scans it looks like I'm ovulating so fingers crossed!

Thank you everyone, makes me feel alittle bit more normal :) and congratulations to everyone who is having a baby, makes me excited that it may happen to us soon as well. I confess I haven't tried ovulation kits yet because I keep reading reviews of cb digital and they were not great reviews, but I may give it a go anyway. To internationallove I know how fustrating it is, and as most people tell me and I want to scream at them, there is always next month! please keep me updated :). And fingers crossed orange lily please also keep me updated :)

Thanks. It's great to know someone else is going through. We've recently decided to take a few months as I have a lot of time off work to see if anything settles. After that we're looking at natural fertility coaching and some acupuncture but we'll see!!

Are you enjoying life apart from cycle times??? We have a brilliant social life but go occasional depressed bits of 8 months of TTC without anything. Hmm Also think last cycle was
an anovulation cycle which, whilst normal, isn't positive!
