What's the earliest anyone has got a BFP?

I'm currently about 6 dpo, with a massive store of cheap tests but I'm pretty sure this is ridiculously early to test.
My dds were unplanned so i didnt test til quite late. Anyone got a BFP early enough I can test before 10 dpo?

Pregnancy tests are not reliable until about 12dpo. Even the most sensitive ones are only about 50% accurate before this stage, so you really are just best off waiting till at least 14dpo when they are more like 90% accurate.

A friend of mine says she got one at 7dpo and I have heard of people getting them at 9dpo.

But you risk a false negative by testing early.

Personally, I only bother to test on IVF cycles. Otherwise I just wait to see if AF appears.

so maybe thats 8 days.

anyway, i agree with the others. wait as long as you can. even if you get an early test you spend the next 4-5 days panicking about chemical pregnancies.

Not sure what 'dpo' is. I got a BFP when I was 4 days late for my period. My periods are like clockwork and we'd been at it like rabbits trying. Is that soon? I'd also had really bad stomach cramps the fortnight before which my DM also had with me and DSis, so we kind of expected i.

dpo=days past ovulation

I got a positive at 9dpo with current pregnancy, was with sensitive Internet cheapie test-I really didn't believe it for a few days anyway so probably should have waited.

I got positive test when I was 3+4 weeks pregnant so I guess about 11DPO. Was with a poundland test though, so a more sensitive one would presumably have picked it up sooner :)

I don't get down with -ive tests but I want DH to be there when I get a +ive and he gets bored of too many days in a row.
7dpo was very tempting this morning but I have no symptoms so managed to hold off.
We are going away for the weekend and it would be impossible to hide poas associated rubbish from dd's which I think makes it sensible to test tomorrow (8 dpo) and not take any so I can't test again til mon.

6 days all 3 times

10dpo both times - neither showed earlier though.
