Winkle the clinic will keep an eye on you so try not to worry and just look forward to the final step. I got 8 eggs by the way; pretty paltry in comparison but I am very, very old! I was told 8 was a reasonable number so 24 is amazing!

Sorry it's a short message from me. I'm so bloody hot plus AF turned up (yay!) so I'm suffering with that.

It is all quite interesting, from a scientific viewpoint. I think age must play some part but then at 42 I have a " good" AMH of 21 by which even the consultant was surprised so I suppose that I should have produced more than 8 (as there are supposedly many waiting in the wings for their turn in the spotlight). I had a lot of drugs too: 425 of Menopur for 11 days.

No one warns you about the pain afterwards OUCH!!!

nobeer I passed out at my first injection training session & had to lay in recovery for half an hour while DH went through everything on his own . Saw the same nurse yesterday for bloods & she nearly feel through the floor when I told her I was stabbing myself!! Who is this person?!!

Another thing no one warns you about: the pessary pain killer. Wtf is that about? I'm ashamed to say mine bounced out of my hand and fell down the toilet, I had to fish it out and wash it before attempting to stick it up.

Dinner tonight was harrisa flavoured chicken pieces with a quinoa herb and apricot salad and some green bits. Super healthy!!

Twinks yes the pain isn't great and I found moving around quite uncomfortable for a few days. I could really feel it in each step. They gave me a hormone to take every night to stabilise my hormones. I had paracetamol but think you can take ibuprofen too. I didn't use a hot water bottle because it was in the high 30s here last week! I had mine Wednesday last week, and I started to feel normal again around Tuesday. What did they say to you about ET? They wouldn't let me do mine straight away because of OHSS risk, so the embryos are frozen until I'm ready.

Anyway, AF started today! and I've managed to change to nice doctor. If all goes well, FET next month!

Good luck for your scan tomorrow brooker. I'm just tired really, been doing a lot of driving to and from the clinic this week on top of work commute. How are you feeling? That's fab that you have overcome your needle phobia

Twinks I was told no ibuprofen as I was going straight to ET. I had my EC last Wednesday too and was pretty much sore till ET on Monday. I was told to expect pain and bloating, but I drink loads. And if my urine was cloudy to call straight away.
