Juicy I've got everything crossed for you. Hope you get good news tomorrow. Flowers

nobeer · 11/07/2013 17:30

Expat Thank you. I really owe you one!

MotorcycleMama · 11/07/2013 18:01

juicy you won't really be going to the scan on your own - all of us will be there with you! You are so pregnant, I'm sure you will be just fine tomorrow. I wish I had some of your symptoms (apart from the beige) as I might then really believe I was pregnant. Handholds, hair strokes and all that stuff. X

JuicyFatSteak · 11/07/2013 18:14

Aw, fanks, my gorgeous friends Thanks A hour ago I had the most terrifically violent cramp - just a 30-second cracker - which made me run to the loo to look for red blood. I could even feel my womb pulsating when the cramp finished Sad However, still only smears of beige when I wipe. I won't be mentioning it again; tomorrow will bring whatever it brings and everything is in God's hands. Whatever happens it has been an absolute joy being preggo and I'm awfully grateful Smile

How is everyone? What's for tea, slags? X

MotorcycleMama · 11/07/2013 18:33

juicy the morning of my OTD clinic appointment, I had cramps so severe they woke me up convinced that I would be covered in blood. I had to get up slowly and I doubted I would be able to manage the car journey to the clinic. In hindsight, I think that anxiety had a lot to do with it - maybe for you too? Tomorrow you have the most mind-blowingly significant appointment, it would be weird not to be going through it at the moment.

Oh.. Spicy roast squash, guacamole, stewed peppers, salad - all home-made tapas type dinner. DH is going away for a long weekend, and it is his favourite.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/07/2013 19:24

What times your appointment Juicy. But more importantly, what are you having for dinner?

That sounds immense Motor. I could guac all day long. We a having fish cakes and salad. I am sooooo tired. I cannot make it through the afternoon without a nap at the moment!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/07/2013 19:38

Motor I'm drooling just reading about that, now wonder it's your DH's favourite. Please invite me for tea next time your making it Smile

Fish fantastic news!!

Mejust sorry to hear AF has been painful. I can't believe you've managed to cook a roast in this weather. Have a beer or two for me.

Brooker great scan news, come on little follies catch up!

Juicy I know nothing will make you stop worrying. You have a lot of promising symptoms. You are pregnant and the scan will be fine Thanks

Maybe I read muffnuts as muffins as I'm clearly used to you making so many mistakes that I automatically correct them for you Grin I really must try that recipe.

Resp well done on the BJ. I really couldn't be arsed in this heat Smile

I'm on ICSI cycle 1, day 11 down regulation.

AFM, still no AF. I need to call the clinic on sat morning if still not here. I've had a few twinges and a bit of spotting, I still don't think it's gonna turn up anytime soon. I might have to think about dtd as that normally hurries it along.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/07/2013 19:44

Cups how very dare you Grin. You have to try them! Sorry about lack of AF. It's so frustrating waiting for her! Ido not envy you at DTD. I'm so bloody tired I'd be asleep before the earth moved Grin

Lifeasafish · 11/07/2013 19:46

Thank you all for the good wishes. I'm struggling this evening though will explain below.

mejust I'm sorry that you have a horrid AF, must feel like a kick in the teeth. But I guess its a result of all the drugs and didn't we skip a period due to the IVF? I've my fingers crossed that it happens naturally.
A roast in this heat? Do you mean the full shebang from stuffing to york puds? I'm impressed!

nobeer I had the exact same symptoms so just wondered. Yet no OHSS, though I was bordering. Glad you are feeling better.

motor I'm so pleased the clinic have confirmed! DH has said he is refusing to get excited until a doc confirms it! I assume they will book me in after I tell them that I have tested. I'm also hopeful that we continue together (read below).

juicy good luck for tm but wasn't the mmc with your own egg? Tis is toally different. My bestie told me last week that she ended up in a&e a few times with her first child as she was in angony with cramps. It was her womb stretching...

AFM: so I'm 9dp5dt and I've had a faint line since Monday evening (6dpt) and faint lines and 2 clear blues digi's since Tues morning. But the lines haven't got any darker and are about the same.

What if it hasn't stuck? I'm a bit scared. Actually, fuck that - I'm now petrified. I guess It sank in today so the worry/doubt started.

Straight talking please.

MotorcycleMama · 11/07/2013 19:55

Please fish do not make the same mistake that I did am still doing and test so often. Hcg rises at varying rates, but they reckon it should double over 48 - 72 hours. Testing too often will mean that you will not identify that, and will therefore panic. Try to leave a gap, and only use one brand of test. You got a line!! That is great!! Try to hold off for a while. I know it is really hard, but lets hold hands to stop each other doing it! Flowers

resipsa · 11/07/2013 19:55

Cups no AF (for once) is a bugger, eh? If it helps, I had BFN bleed on 20 May then no AF until 7 July. Clinic said get to 8 weeks and we'll discuss but I only got to 7 Blush

Lifeasafish · 11/07/2013 19:57

Hahahaha @ motor! There's no way I'm taking that piece of advice (being honest and all that).

But, it is good to know it doubles over 48-72 hrs. I thought the test would start beeping the next day Hmm

BrookerC · 11/07/2013 20:14

juicy honey, please remember that you have a blasto made from a beautiful young egg in there . What's so frustrating is that us IVF'ers never seem to have the chance to enjoy our please god let me get pregnant pregnancies Sad. BUT it will make your baby all the more precious-fact. x That goes for you too motor fish xx
mejust I know it's tough at the mo. Nothing can prepare you for how you're feeling. One day at a time lovely Flowers. Glad you're enjoying the things you've been missing out on. Roast btw-mental! x

chocolocodowninacapulco · 11/07/2013 20:22

fish huge congrats on the BFP, that's brilliant. As the others have said, try not to test too often as it will drive you mad! (This is from someone who spent a fortune on tests last time)

juicy you're doing brilliantly, not long to go now. We are all here to support you

brooker fab news on the scan - What day of stims are you on?

mejust sorry to hear about your AF, mine was horrendously heavy after BFN and it really does add insult to injury. How was the roast?

motor that's brilliant that you've have had the pregnancy confirmed, so pleased for you

hello to everyone else.

AFM, nervously awaiting day 9 scan tomorrow and hoping the follicles have had a growth spurt. I have had back ache and loads of cramps today, so really hoping they are good signs. Started the prednisolone today and apart from feeling even more tired all is ok.

MotorcycleMama · 11/07/2013 20:37

choco it's looking good so far! Just try to take it easy and look after yourself.

tametortie · 11/07/2013 20:44

Evening all Grin

fish congratulations my love!!! Grin Another fab BFP!! Stick around for now though won't you?? I want to play that game again where you make us phone strange places Wink

motor Hope it is sinking in with you but I think perhaps not!! hold tight- it will get more and more real....

expat hello!! I think I have missed your review appt so will go back and read...

choco good scan results! We need some egg layers- its getting quiet on here and there is nothing like egg collection and embryo watching to whir us all into a frenzy! Grin

nomaybe good luck for tomorrow!

twink you will have had ec today no? Hope you are ok xxx

Wish hope you are ok? xxx is that mate still being a pain??

brooker hello Smile

joos please try not to worry Sad I know its easier said than done but honestly- lickle beige smidgens could be anything. You are not bleeding heavy red painful blood so just sit tight for now. You will know more tomorrow and chances are, its just a little one snuggling in. We are all here holding your hand and praying xxxxxxxxx

respisa totally with you on the 'negligence' thing re: scan. I work in palliative care and there is a very big thing about 'knowing and treating'. I was a bit flabbergasted tbh. Think ive sorted it today though- a specialist mc nurse at work will do me a little floow up in a few weeks to check all is clear- hopefully should have had AF by then.

nook hope you are ok x

mejust sorry to hear AF is painful. Are you thinking of not cycling again or do you think you will have another go? Give yourself a break though x

karbea hope you are ok x

nobeer good news that there is a plan for transfer. Fingers crossed!

flowers, lizzie , shellster are you still about? hope you are all ok?

no cups Smile hello x

tame p-leasssse invite me round for dinner. Every meal sounds amaze balls !!! Piri piri chicken with salad & hummus for me.

chocolocodowninacapulco · 11/07/2013 20:54

Hi tame good news on the follow up scan, that must be at least a little weight off of your mind xx

tametortie · 11/07/2013 21:01

choco will be good to get 'closure' of sorts. I had a bad time with retained products last time so getting a clear scan will make me feel better I think.

brook we do have some lovely meals! Both like cooking and eating a lot Smile I have eaten crap this week though. I actually ate 2 pink wafers today Blush and iced gems and 2 massive sandwiches. I am rebelling but I know that when I get back off holiday in 4 weeks I need to be gluten free and low sugar so the blow out will do me good Hmm

OP posts:
mejust · 11/07/2013 21:50

I managed the roast yes full roast with 2 meats I'm so full.

Tam I'm not sure at the moment the ivf really has drained me I was on long protocol which lasted forever.I'm still gonna take my tabs and vits and be healthy.I'm still on the decaff.plus I want to see what doc says.
