Hi all,

So first cycle of ttc and got a little ahead of myself and decided to do a preg test today. To my delight, after five mins the two lines came up, I did a few things and then went upstairs to tell my hubby and the positive line had kind of merged with the negative line!

It was a cheap test so it might just be that - or i'm not pregnant or I'm imagining little pink lines.

Any could be possible!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

How early have you tested? It is possible that what you have seen is an evaporation line. Best thing to do is wait until your period is actually due and take another test.

First of all I don't think you are imagining lines!
I think it was there when you saw it!

Dont know if it was a real line or an evap though, I'm hoping the former for you....the only way to tell will be to retest- if you can wait first morning urine the best for this.

FWIW I have found that digital tests that simply say 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' can save a lot of mental energy on this front.

fingers crossed for you

Gosh that is definitely far too early! Pregnancy tests are just not reliable that early on, you need to give the hormone levels a chance to build up. Wait until you period is actually due, it will save money and sanity - I speak from experience!
