Can anyone help me with interpreting these results? Apparently the receptionist at the GP gave these to the husband and told him they were 'fine' - glad they've been looked at by an expert then...

Vol 0.4ml (this sounds highly unlikely unless he missed the target!)

Count 117 mil/ml
Total count 47 mil
Motility 70
Normal forms 10
MAR test negative

Is this good, bad or ugly? Have appointment at gynae clinic which will determine ongoing treatment on Monday and want to be prepared. It's the 'normal forms' bit I don't understand.

That's the morphology. It's supposed to be over 4%. I'd say it all looks good, but volume a bit low.

Ah, thanks keepitgoing - I was thinking it seemed really low but if 4% is lower limit then that'll do nicely!

Right, off to go and ask him if his aim was a little off..
