DE IVF for DC2 when DC1 conceived naturally. Would you do it?

My DD was 2 in January. I have wanted and been trying for DC2 since Sept 11 with 1 MMC and 1 recent round of failed IVF.
I am 42. As I see it, my eggs are too old and if we were to try IVF again, it would make sense to use donor eggs.
I thought my head was clear about this but someone has just questioned it and now I wonder if they are right. Would it be odd and alter the family dynamic for the worse? Or should I go with my heart and embrace my longing for DC2?
Just interested in others' views and to know if anyone else has done the same thing. If you did, how is it?

Hi

I'm in a similar situation. 2 dcs, one conceived via iui, one via ivf and have just had a failed frozen transfer. If we go down the ivf route again we may be advised to consider de. I'm not sure what I think about it, I guess on some level I would worry that I might not love the de conceived child as much as the other 2 on the other hand if you carry a child for 9 months and give birth to him/her then surely you must think of it as your own? And then of course people adopt children and love them just as much as they would their biological child/children.

Not helpful at all really. It would be much more straightforward if I could just get pregnant naturally...
