Trying for baby no. 2 after implant...

I am 31 years old and have been trying for baby number 2 since having my contraceptive implant removed in April.

My DS is almost 2 and we literally conceived the very first time we had unprotected sex!

Even though I am aware that 2 and a half months is not long to have been trying I am finding the irrational part of my brain becoming extremely irritated and slightly anxious that it hasn't happened yet! It also doesn't help that my cycle has gone to pot a bit since having the implant removed so its hard to keep track of when I might be ovulating.

I was told that the effects of the implant stop pretty much as soon as it is removed but is this right?

Any advice would be welcomed! I know I shouldn't worry yet but once you've decided you are "trying" it's hard to think of anything else!!

I had my implant removed in Feb and was pregnant in May (2 long cycles).

I remember feeling like the implant had somehow damaged me and I would never get pg but I did (i miscarried this week though Hmm) Just try to go with the flow, eat well, sex every two days etc, it should happen.

Have you downloaded an app to track your af. I used 'my days' and it has really helped me to understand my cycle.

Good luck and relax!
