Happy with lassie, although originally meaning 'girl' I like the thought that I have tied on a gingham neckerchief and am off on an adventure! Although would rather be doing it with a bottle of JD instead of litres of water!

DH and I have been ttc for 3 and a half long and weary years. I am 35, he is 36. Had all the tests, which have come back good, but just means they have no idea why I have never fallen pregnant. First round of ivf, been stimming for 7 days now, and am getting scanned this afternoon. My lower back feels like someone has knifed me, so am worried.

I don't know anyone who has been through ivf, all my close friends fell pregnant instantly, a number are now on to their 4th, which to be honest i am finding hard. Very few know we have been ttc, let alone doing ivf. They assume I am a career girl, pah!!

So here I am with you slightly mental, but very funny ladies.

The line this morning was a lovely blood red but my temp was the lowest it's been since implantation (but certainly not low) and I've just found the slightest tinge of beige when I wipe. Is this normal seeing as my period would have been due yesterday? Do the temps mean my progesterone is falling and that I should ring my clinic to see about immediate use of pessaries?

I'm fine, I'd actually dreamt that I'd got a bfp last night, the test involved drinking a weird fluid (lol!), but to be honest the bfp felt wrong. Very hard to explain.
