Came off my pill in May and had two periods since - pretty much back to normal straight away. Me and hubby going to start trying in August very excited but nervous too, hoping it happens straight away, any tips on what I should be doing to prepare now? X

Get taking a daily preconception vitamin! Either folic acid, or what in taking it the 'trying for a baby' vitamin from Seaven Seas which is in offer at sainsburys at 3 for 2!

Oh and I've read and been told time and time again, but have regular sex but try not to make it a chore Grin spontaneous sex!

Ok will definitely get some of those vitamins, I've just started taking folic acid. Will not be obsessing over it, just going to go with the flow and chart periods. Very excited! With some of my friends it took over a year to conceive x

Hi, will also be trying in August but will be for my 3rd!
Wanted to get our summer holiday out of the way before we try as suffered very badly with morning sickness with first two.
Fell pregnant straight away with them too so I'm hoping it will go the same way, but I'm older this time (36) so not sure how it will go sure DH won't mind trying for longer though!!
k8ee will have a look out for the seven seas vits thanks.

Well I am currently ttc Good luck on your upcoming ttc journey. It's very exiting. However I wont lie to you, it can become stressful and emotional as well. Take me for example I've been trying since April so not long at all, anyway to cut a long story short A.F was due to arrive 9 June, she came 2 days earlier. It seemed like the period from hell. On the monday 10 July it A.f was especially bad. I was flooded and very emotional. I will admit I saw a pregnant women and felt my eyes filling up. I know that makes me seem selfish or does it make me seem human!. However I'm not normally like that, I usually can't wait to congratulate them ect, but still we all get down don't we. I hope it happens for you very fast. xxx
