Hmm, that's rather curious. Surrogacy = your own eggs, right? So the baby will be biologically Caprice's? But presumably she was already a month pregnant when the surrogate got diffed? Frozen eggs/embryos, maybe? It's strange, to say the least. No idea who the hell Caprice is, mind. I'm not too good at sleb gossip.

Evil, yes I think biologically a surrogate uses your eggs if they are useable but I also read somewhere that the law legally considers the woman who gave birth to you to be your legal mother and you still have to formally 'adopt'? Not sure how it works, it's unlikely to be simple - or more likely I just dreamt all that up

I never know if I'd use a surrogate, as much as I want children, I desperately want to have carried a baby and given birth. If I can't do that them adoption will be the next call maybe. I don't know. Not cheap either

I was up, being dildocammed... The scan was interesting. My lining and womble looked wonderful. In my right ovary there were three follies growing (of the bloody 9 last week). So we panicked slightly and wondered whether all the stabbing was going anywhere (if you start with 20 six seems a low number). Thankfully the left ovary has gone a little overboard with 10 growing follies (out of 11!) So we're on 13, which according to the doc was perfect, as I am completely out of the OHSS risk but plenty to choose from. Out of the 13 there, one is 18mm, the rest between 14 and 16-ish. So a little while longer. Tired and headachy still. Cannot wait to be off the devil's juice.

I have just got home after a spa day with girlfriends. I have never done one before - it was really nice to spend with them without the menfolk and without having to do anything in particular. The spa bit I could take or leave, really, even though the massage was nice.

I hate tampons, I can get through a super plus in about two hrs. Friggin things. I know that's no help but thought I'd share

Bugs - pre-mooncup, I preferred lillets to tampax. They are softer and expand widthways not length-ways. Less pointless packaging too. I also never got with that squeamish tampax applicator faff. Foofs are cleaner than mouths etc.
