Welcome to the BESH plumbing thread, where we have blocked pipes, dirty u-bends and leaks aplenty.

Newbies are welcome to seek out the BESHtionnaire submit highly inflated quotes for consideration. Instadiffers will be massively overcharged and sent packing.

Hmmm, this job is gonna cost a bit Wink

Evil bastards twinks. And 500quid... That is more than a root canal, are you covered on insurance?

Sorry euro. Naughty early testing though.

Wow moll, that would be great. Also meeting someone genuinely at peace about the decision to quit. That is still one of my bigger worries. I have a lovely boss, in fact several: I get on very well with top-man, and the manager is nice too. But I am on a temporary contract and they just didn't renew a diffed colleague's contract, so I won't be telling them yet. Also since the pill was removed from the toxic mixture of drucks, I've been feeling much better. Already been for a run

Get your sorry bottom over here twinks droid! Annoying that HSG might not fit now.

I like the getting away with murder because of the drucks, that you haven't started rasp. And I like wine and blueberry muffins too. Although my squiffy stab did not bruise but was traumatic in that I failed to inject the full dose in the first instance, so that was faff. Last night's sober stabbing was much preferable. So I'll be staying sober at the PILs tonight. Not that they'll notice, as they didn't guess when I didn't drink cos I was diffed either...

No good ever came for early testing bugs so surely it is the weather. I'll keep my kidney poking device at the read though!

Fingers crossed for you bugs.

So the gynae agrees more surgery is pointless and the fibroid can stay put. Next step is more progesterone tests timed better to my cycle as cd21 is not really cd21 for me. He's given me a sort of pending prescription for clomid which I'm to take if the progesterone is low. It's a druck I've heard mentioned a lot on here so I'm wondering what you lot can tell me about it - side effects etc?

eurozammo · 05/07/2013 12:25

moll that's good news about the 'broid.

I've taken Letrozole, which is similar to Clomid. It gave me a few hot flushes but otherwise wasn't too bad.

I have cramps so I think Droid might be on the way. Which is a good thing. I just want this cycle over now. My boobs stopped hurting this morning which is usually a sure sign that ERTD is imminent.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 05/07/2013 19:05

Moll good news about the fibroid, in that you don't have to put up with more fiddling about. I was on Clomid for a bit, it can have some nasty side effects for some people (headaches, insomnia, nausea, hot flushes), but all I got were the hot flushes.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine Grin

Quiet round these parts innit?! Where is everyone. I'm off to the annual beer festival today. I think my boss is genuinely sick of hearing me talk about I've been so excited. Big tent, picnic, home brew cider and friends chilling in a field all day. Amazeballs.

FizzyFeet · 06/07/2013 07:55

Think everyone's out getting their vitamin d, rasp. Have a great time at the beer festival - sounds luvverly! I am trying to shake a hangover - years of ttc have left me a total lightweight. Still, at least I'm a cheap date Wink

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 06/07/2013 08:22

I'm here, but jot for long. I'm heading to that there London shortly as HWHNN and I are off to see the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park tonight. I'm slapping on the sun cream as we speak!

RaspberrySnowCone · 06/07/2013 09:07

I'm already in the garden, got a few things to do before we go to tesco to stock up then head in :) have a lovely sunny weekend everyone

eurozammo · 06/07/2013 09:29

rasp tht sounds brilliant. I think the sun and tennis are keeping people away from MN. It is noticeably slower on here atm, everywhere, not just on this board.

Great day for it frank.

Can you all rush to the fishmonger, please? I tested this morning (13dpo). There is a mere hint of a line. 2 days ago it was completely arctic. But it is paler than the one I got at 12dpo in February (yes, I kept my pissy sticks) and my boobs have stopped hurting the way they usually do when AF is about to arrive rather than getting sorer, so I think it isn't good. I think maybe it is a chem preg.

evilgiraffe · 06/07/2013 09:36

Sounds nice, rasp and frank!

It's not just the tennis this weekend. Current sports of interest to me are: Tour de France (first mountain stage today!), formula one, Wimbledon, the Lions tour, and the Ashes. We won't be able to fit it all in, and are going to be out barbecuing both this evening and tomorrow evening. Yay and arrrrgh, all at once!

Oh, euro, testing only ever feeds the menkul :( I will keep my fingers firmly crossed, all the same.

eurozammo · 06/07/2013 09:50

I know draf. I'm not usually a tester. Apart from my previous IVF cycle I've probably only ever pissed on about 10 sticks in my life.

I don't even know how quickly the line came up as I got up at 5 for a wee, POAS half asleep and then went back to bed for an hour.

It is a sport-tastic weekend isn't it?

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 06/07/2013 10:11

Oh euro it could well be a line, but it's hard to know. I'm keeping everything crossed for you, maybe leave it another day or two, if you can, and POAS again?

I'm on the train right now, rather warm and standing room only. Is it a tad too early to invoke "pregnant lady, give me you seat!"? Wink

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 06/07/2013 10:12

OTD is tomorrow and blood test is on Monday.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 06/07/2013 10:29

I suppose one way of looking at it is that at least the blood test will give you an answer one way or the other. I'm rooting for you Euro and have fish aplenty on standby.

OP posts:
TWinklyLittleStar · 06/07/2013 11:04

Oh euro what a headfuck! Going to be a long few days. Can you resist POASing again until Monday? Hope you have a good busy weekend filled to keep you occupied.

frank - no. Never too early. Add a little sway if they seem reluctant Wink

Enjoy the sport draf and the beer Rasp. I'm nights this weekend, ffs.

eurozammo · 06/07/2013 11:05

Yes, it will. I am thinking chem preg though. Even mr euro (who is much more of an optimist than I am) said "it's not supposed to be that faint is it?" It really is a barely there line.

TWinklyLittleStar · 06/07/2013 11:15

On a side note - for some reason it bugs the shit out of me when people post things like "my very faint line is pulling the cat's tail now". I don't know why that turn of phrase irritates me so much.

What plans do you have to keep you busy euro?

eurozammo · 06/07/2013 11:23

I think it's the smugness of it twink. My last not quite so faint line rendered me anaemic and in need of codeine to deal with the physical pain. I don't post that on those threads. I don't want to burst the smug little bubble.

My parents are coming over for a belated father's day bbq tomorrow, so today we are foodie shopping - off to the swanky butcher and fishmonger in Dulwich shortly. And then to B&Q to buy a sunshade for the garden!

What are your plans?

TWinklyLittleStar · 06/07/2013 11:29

I love Dulwich, the naice part is ever so naice. Buy an extra fillet to slap yourself with.

I am hopefully seeing my parents at the airport for a coffee today, they're coming to England to see someone else but they should have time to meet up for a bit. Then work at 8. Hopefully work will go a bit better than last night - I had to get the driver to pull over so I could throw up in a bin by the roadside.
