Lunch was yesterday, I managed not to give anything away! HWHNN is back at his flat in London as he has work to do on an assignment - as do I! He's being very cool about it all, though he did say he was excited. He's a very sensible person, so he is being pragmatic until we've had a scan.

Well done on not giving the game away. I think I'll be rubbish at that if the time ever comes!

How are the other hags? I've had sun and a mixed feelings outing to a local paddling pool (as an aunt, not a child-stealing perv).

I'm going to call the midwife team tomorrow to arrange a provisional appointment. I presume they'll arrange my scan after that.

My droidal invasion was waiting for me at work, stimming starts Wed not quite as early this week as I hoped, thanks AWOL droid for that and then scannage after a week. Real IVF is really there. Not much else to note, except exhaustion, but that may have been work rather than side effect related.

Um...I think perhaps I should explain the True Meaning of meringues. Back in the days of yore there was a BESH called SaltyAir, and we all used to be very envious of the quantity and, er, quality of her "egg white". She used to joke about making meringues out of them. We almost started a mail order ffj meringues business.

That sounds GRIM. Although it has given me a lot of inspiration. On stims I tend to produce (and I quote) lots of lovely egg-white mucus; since it is totally superfluous for IVF I coudl have a go. Maybe I'll attempt macaroons...

HWCA normally loves a macaroon driz but I suspect he would pass on your speshul ones. No offence How are you feeling? Is it you being driven to the edge by the pill and if so how do you think the stimming will go? Fingers crossed for you.

Evening all. I has been enjoying the sunshine too. Am feeling quite up beat about ivf now - got the forms back I. Tr post so waiting for the invitation to the clinic. It sounds like you just go to the open evening, and then they send you the drucks and a timetable in the post. Can this be right? Also think they do a nasal spray for down regging which is good as I'd rather be a sniffer than a stabber.
