My noobs hurt too and I'm fed up as well. I refuse to POAS until I'm definitely late though

Springbells · 21/06/2013 18:11

Grin noobs.... Made me smile. Didn't want to read and run, I had a fed up day a couple of days ago, oh away for key dates so another month gone... Hey ho, like you say Wine Wine Wine oh, and choc!

Hugs, and hope your bfn turns bfp!

(And go twinkly!)

2lilgirls · 21/06/2013 18:20

Hi, dildoos. Sorry about your BFN...
Hope you don't mind me dragging your thread off topic a bit.

I am also due Sunday and did 2 Tesco tests today. When I put the cap on the test and the test was wet a positive pink line came up in the test side immediately. I nearly fell over with excitement that it was a bfp. About 8-10 seconds later it was gone and only the control line was left. It happened on both tests. Last test was an hour ago and not a hint of a second line now. Just thought it was strange as though I have not often used Tesco tests it's never happened before.

Clutching at straws I know Sad

I'll have one on you all tonight ladies Wine and drink to July conceptions Wine

2lilgirls · 21/06/2013 18:21

My post should have included the question - did this happen to you or any experience of it happening?

TWinklyLittleStar · 21/06/2013 18:24

I have never ever ever had a second line under any circumstances whatsoever, so no, sorry. Very confusing for you.

2lilgirls · 21/06/2013 18:27

Thanks TWinklyLittleStar, very confusing. Must be a fault.

dildoos · 21/06/2013 19:06

Thank you all , period pains suck!
However no I didn't get that my lovely do sounds like a good start to a pos? How strange and to happen twice! I usually find tescos are good as picked up quickly with last bfp sadly mc but took ages to get hcg back to normal and it hovered over 14.8 for ages and had to test to check for gp and tesco one still picked it up!!! Hope this helps and it's going to be a bfp for you Grin xx

dildoos · 21/06/2013 19:07

Twinkly when will you test? I wish I was more controlled x

OP posts:
TWinklyLittleStar · 21/06/2013 19:10

Well my period is due anywhere between 6 & 13 days from now so my intention is to leave it 2 weeks, safe in the knowledge my period will come before then and I won't have to squint at a negative test, trying to will a second line into existence.

dildoos · 21/06/2013 19:15

Haha were you watching me today Grin

OP posts:
2lilgirls · 21/06/2013 19:16

I don't think a positive would just instantly disappear though, surely if it was the chemical reacting to hcg it would remain pink Sad It happened just as the urine was passing through the window, stayed pink/purple and then gone Sad
I might buy a First response tomorrow. Promised myself I wouldn't obsess but it's impossible. I even checked the bin just now to make absolutely certain there isn't a line and no, nada. Blush Blush

Thank god for this website, you are all keeping me sane.

Good luck to you all Xx

Sorry about the MEEEEE post! X

Awh I am very sorry for you dildoos. My sister recently went through mc, only discovered at her 12w scan (first baby). There are just no words to describe it.
You have to believe that one day you will have your baby X

dildoos · 21/06/2013 19:53

Bless her that is awful I was lucky? To realise at 8 weeks and had the comfort of my daughter aged 5 , so awful esp If first xx

OP posts:
2lilgirls · 21/06/2013 20:23

5 is a lovely age, fun and lovely company but so young an and innocent also!

Very hard on her, she will be a bag of nerves next time around. It should be the happiest time of a woman's life Sad

Bambi27 · 21/06/2013 20:40

2lilgirls...that happened with my super drug test this morning! :( think it must be them reacting xx

2lilgirls · 21/06/2013 20:42

Not you too Bambi Sad
Yeah, that might explain it. I've never seen it happen before though...

Bambi27 · 21/06/2013 20:44

No me neither!! I was very excited then went back and gone!! Xx

DizzyPurple · 21/06/2013 20:55

Sending hugs! We're on cycle 28 although do have 2dd's already although they are VERY far apart. Was hoping things might be different this time. Becoming resigned to the fact we're unlikely to get another. (Although having laparoscopy next week so who knows what they might find and mend with any luck)

dildoos · 21/06/2013 20:57

I have heard pink lines are more reliable what's your views as I don't know? I keep thinking is there a small chance could be too early but I def have dull aches Hmm here's to hopingWine
Yes 2lil a gorgeous but very testing age but she is my world xxx

dildoos · 21/06/2013 21:00

OP posts:
ImpatientOne · 21/06/2013 21:09

hey dildoos, I didn't even get to poas this month as only got to CD25! I'm on cycle 27 too although no sniff of a line at all in all those months. To add insult to injury our next apt with the in fertility clinic should have been next week but was changed to September by the hospital. It's now on our 4th wedding anniversary!

Wine for all Grin

dildoos · 21/06/2013 22:13

Impatient that's crap news! Bloody hospital! May I ask who your with? We are considering Bourn clinic we have to pay as I have my dd, we have seen gynaecologist and he said keep on trying but dp has low sperm count and I have a hostile environment lol xxx

OP posts:
ImpatientOne · 24/06/2013 20:39

We are with a local NHS service at the moment although not our most local one as I am NHS staff so didn't want to go to the nearest hospital! I'm oop north so not a huge range of choice - if we choose to go private we will have to travel about 60 miles to Manchester I suppose.

I was offered Clomid at my last appointment although all of my blood tests showed no issue with ovulation Confused The consultant said it may actually make me less likely to conceive but might be worth a try... I politely declined last time as we were supposed to be seen again in 4 months but that was the end of Jan so it will actually be over 7 months between appointments! He basically advised us to go away and have sex 2-3 times per week and for me to loose some weight (my bmi was 30)

I think I have a progesterone issue personally as I have shortish cycles and always get spotting from about day 24/25 but the consultant didn't think that was an issue.

Today I am having a blasé type of day but they are getting less frequent and I am starting to struggle a bit more.
