8 days late, negative tests.

what does it mean!?!!
I'm always quite regular, never been this late, never missed one, we are trying. i have done about 400 . ish! tests and they are all negative, tried lots different brands,not even the slightest line. I am not stressed, under or overweight, on no medication, haven't changed job, routine, anything., I have had 3 pregnancies before, only one successful but they did all show up on pregnancy tests. what gives? menopause at 35? could I be pregnant anyway? I have no symptoms. please help, I am going to bankrupt myself on tests, don't tell me wait a week and retest, a week is a long time!

Aww. The same thing happened to me with cycle before last. I was 2 weeks late and I am usually as regular as clock work. I did about 5 home tests all negative and even went to see a practice nurse, she said it's just a late period. That was no consolation to me. I finally came on on 12 May, at least then I knew where I stood.
However after 400 ish negative tests I'm no medic nor do I profess to be, but I think a pregnancy test would have shown up. Mind you then again a positive test may show up not if actual conception occured less than 3 weeks ago! I know you don't want people saying wait another week, and I know how hard it is not knowing. I've been there myself, but sometimes you just have to be patient. Speak to your G.P about your concerns.
On a lighter note I wish I had the money for 400 tests!!.

With my first I was about 2 weeks before a proper line came up but managed to get a blood test through gp but he was very good x all the luck to you x

I worried myself into not having a period for 2 weeks!

I was scared of pregnancy and pretty sure the stress made my period even later (and I was stressed ).

If you're testing negative then try thinking of it as if you're definitely not & your period might show (or you'll forget about it and get a bfp in a week)

I was around 6wks before I got a +ve test the first time...so you could be (don't despair), but be prepared that it might well be an 'unexplained' late period. Do you feel pregnant at all?

I'm in exactly the same position happydazed!!
Though I have only done a couple of test's!
Its rubbish- last cycle was the first after coming off pill (after withdrawal period) and was 32 days- now nothing!!
Now feel fed up that I'm probably not PG but also have messed up cycles!!

I don't feel pregnant, but then I didn't to start with previous pregnancies. I normally get cramps for about a week before due on but not getting that either. my last mc was last July and been really regular since, its strange!
