Unlikely, but possible. Morning-after pill for you, asap, and no more getting "carried away".

Bambi27 · 18/06/2013 19:49

Yes I would suggest morning after pill , it's not worth the risk if you don't want a baby! You can either go doc and get for free or go to the chemist and pay for it without prescription. 30-40 pound I think??

Kione · 18/06/2013 21:55

is it that expensive??? Shock
I cant get it until tomorrow anyway!

Free if you get an appointment with your doctor.

TheFantasticFixit · 18/06/2013 22:11

It's 24 quid over the counter (so I've been told. Obvs. Wink)

Kione · 18/06/2013 22:19

I feel so.bad an stupid that I am too embarrassed to make an appointment.
Wont it be too late tomorrow morning?

Free on prescription from GP or Family Planning Unit, £26 at Boots or Lloyds.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 18/06/2013 22:22

You have 72 hours, so tomorrow is still in time.

pinkyredrose · 18/06/2013 22:24

No it won't be too late. If that's too embarrassing for you think about all the tests and internals and giving birth if you're pregnant; does that sound a better option!?

You can get it in Boots btw.

justhayley · 18/06/2013 22:30

Its very unlikely you would get pregnant at that time but to make sure just get the morning after Pill you have 72 hours but the quicker you get it the more effective. Don't be embarrassed, just get it over & done with x

Kione · 18/06/2013 22:30

well I meant embarrassing because I already have kids and we where being so stupid. So I prefer to psy £26 yes. if there wasnt an option i'd go to Dr.

sorry to revive this thread but... I took the morning after pil, following orders of lovely mumsnetters Wink but I still haven't got my period. I an 5 days late which is not usual, but did a pregnancy test yesterday and its negative! I was wondering if its normal to be late after taking morning after pil?

ThoraNomiki · 16/07/2013 15:03

The MAP can affect your normal cycle. If still no period in a couple of days do another test and head to your GP

Kione · 17/07/2013 08:01

Thank you for your reply Thanks Will do another one in a couple of days.
