Come and join us elderly TTCers on the Sofa of Pity (SoP), Rug of Rage (RoR), the Pouffe of Possibility (PoP) or the Chaise Lounge of Limbo (CLoL) whilst trying to avoid the BubbleBath of Gloom(BoG)!

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Oh bunny, keep swimming. I agree with the preggers one- is there something indulgent you can do there? For me it would be some delicious food and a book in the garden. Or even a good few films. Or what about a massage or something?

As for feeling crappy, my headache and af cramps are also combining to give me bad feelings about today. however, I'be been to let mum's dogs out, fed the ferrets, walked the dog and taught the twins next door to do back drops on their trampoline. now to tidy the patio and then meet dh at the woods after he finishes work to help him make a table out of fallen wood for the camp area we are making. (my mum owns the woods so it's going to Val a private campsite just for family!)

sorry, that sounded a bit boasty. it wasn't meant that way. what I really want to do is sit in the sun with the dog, but my head hurts and the dog wants to eat the concrete rubble in the garden that's supposed to make a new patio eventually.
maybe I'll finish off a quilt indoors instead.

Thunder, nope, thyroid thing never came to anything although I suspect there's still issues. I was COLD yesterday morning. My FC is an uninformed lump who sat there and told me there was no way my LP could be 9 days as they're always 14 days. She has also decided i don't ovulate based on 2 prog tests saying yes and 1 saying no. I tried to explain that the negative was because it was taken 7 days before AF which means only 2 days past ov (and even then it was 19. 4 so not like, really low) but she was having none of it. Sad

Hi Boodle Nice to have you back, sorry you're getting crap from all sides. Your consultant sounds like a tosser ninny. Agree with Merk, can you swap her? How is it possible that we all know what day bloods need to be taken and none of the docs do??

Bunny it's ok to feel like crap sometimes. How about a massive tub of icecream and some internet shopping..?

Bunny hope you feel better once the eyes calm down. I have always wanted to be one of those people who can look normal when they cry, as I have a horrible gurning face and go blotchy which sticks around for hours afterwards!

Oo yeah I am also a puffy red faced crier. I also really envy people who can cry a little bit- just calmly leaking a few tears. I'm an all out screwed up face wail and sob girl. It can only be done in private. A nice cool flannel on the eyes helps. And YES to Internet shopping- great idea!

Yep the sobbing and wailing wasn't pretty, I am so glad DH is out.

Sorry she got you too puppy. Mine has magically slowed to nothing and only on cd3, whi h is odd.
You're alright boom, I'm stopping the productivity now, I ran out of fabric to finish the quilt and forgot to eat lunch so that's me done for the moment. Essay writing not my idea of fun - I hope you are done soon and can enjoy the sunshine while it's still here.

Clouds cleared so just went out for a nice cuppa glass of Wine and chat about dissertation in the sunshine with a uni friend. Left the dogs for all of 45 minutes - got a phonecall from the neighbour saying they'd found Boomdog II wandering round the estate. Turns out the little fucker he had jumped out of a first floor window that I'd left cracked open so they had fresh air! WTF??

I have no idea how his legs aren't broken but he seems absolutely fine and quite pleased with himself! I am thoroughly ashamed of myself as a dog owner - my only defence is that Boomdog has never launched herself out of the window so I wasn't expecting the Houdini impression!

Decided against a magi mix, they are pretty but think I will be getting a kenwood.

DH home briefly before out drinking, told him AF is coming, he is very disappointed too Sad

Off to sit in the garden again now as its waaaay too hot indoors. Just driven home from my folks and the temp in the car was 29 degrees at 7:15pm - and that was with the roof down . Have a good evening all.
