It's my first month on 50mg Clomid and I'm going to drive myself insane over the next 24 hours. Anyone else waiting, hopeful, going crazy?

I had some slight cramping this morning, so I'm already thinking it's game over.

No other symptoms though...until I start imagining them during the day Grin

I've got butterflies, I'm scared to go to the loo because I just can't face the disappointment again. We've been TTC for over 4yrs now.

No helpful advice, I can't imagine how hard it must be for you. Please don't torture yourself all day, keep busy. What will be will be! Oh and I have everything crossed for you Smile xx

I'm due on on Thurs. Been trying for 14 cycles. Was feeling quite positive until yest when I started getting PMS type symptoms. It's utterly rubbish isn't it.
I have everything crossed for you.

I am. But had mmc in April so cycles may not be back to normal yet. It's hard not to go a bit crazy isn't it?

It is rubbish! It's so hard to take my mind off it, particularly this month. I've previously gone through months of not even counting days etc, but then this balances out with the months of complete craziness.

I am on Weds, only on first cycle and the waiting is killing me so I really sympathize with your predicament, and am crossing my fingers that you get your BFP very soon.

A friend of mine was in a similar situation to you (think they were trying around 3 years) and she was given 3 rounds of clomid and still no BFP, she was really disappointed. The next month though, she got a BFP and has had a lovely baby boy a few weeks ago. We read somewhere that Clomid can kickstart the ovaries and have an effect after you stop taking it.

Anyway I hope the above info is irrelevant to you and you get a BFP while on the Clomid. You can still get cramping and feel like AF is on the way when you are pregnant apparently.

Try and keep busy with other things or you will go mad. I know what you mean about being scared to go to the loo. Good luck!

No signs as yet. Some slight twinges though which is not a good sign Sad.

Just one month being a day late would be a start, but no, AF shows up bang on time every month.

Due today or Thursday at the latest. Already poas as I feel nauseous every evening and just Hmm. Bfn today so kind of given up really. I wasn't particularly ttc but as the date of AF looms I have got sucked into ss for the first time ever!

I felt a bit sickly yesterday which really started me off, but now I feel the same as I always do just before AF arrives. Just generally achey and desperate!

Ooh fingers crossed! What time does AF usually arrive? Is she late yet?

Try not to visit the loo more than once per hour or people at work will think you have a dodgy tum :)

I always get slight spotting first, which I haven't had yet, but this could be because the Clomid has changed my cycle slightly. I hadn't thought of that. My longest cycle was 29 days which was over 2 years ago so I'm hanging on until at least then before I get even a slightest glimmer of excitement. I have a very weird sensation at the moment, its almost like a warm burning feeling rather than full on cramps. Maybe it's my over active imagination?

Loo stop scheduled for 12pm Grin

You do hear of Clomid working first cycle for loads of people so hopefully you will be one of them. I tend to get an overactive imagination when TTC too so it's really hard to tell what's going on isn't it. Anyway you aren't out yet :)

Still nothing Grin although I've had stabbing pains, slight cramps, aches, twinges, back ache, hip ache, thigh ache, one slight boob tingle and butterflies.

I'm losing the plot. I don't know how I'll tell DH if its a fail Sad.

Blimey lots of symptoms there!

Aw don't be disheartened, stay positive, and if it does end up being a BFN this month then the Clomid will probably kick in next month so all won't be lost.

I have a feeling my body is playing a nasty trick on me. I want to get my hopes up, this is the closest I've been, no actual spotting, usually the day before AF is due and so far nothing. My cycles usually range from 26-29 days but I always have spotting first. No period type cramps atm just generally achiness.

We have been TTC for over 4 years and I've never ever even got close to buying a test. I know I could test but I can't bear the disappointment.

I have to increase the Clomid to 100mg and I've been worrying about that, as I'm not being monitored. My GP just prescribed it and said see you in 3 months if nothing has happened! I've had some bloating, twinges and general discomfort on and off all month so hard to tell if I feel any different.

How's everyone else doing? Any symptoms? x

Aw that sucks :( What will the GP do next do you think? Friend was going to be referred for some horrid lap and dye procedure after her 3 months of clomid but she was putting it off when she realised she was pregnant. You hear loads of people getting success with clomid though so don't give up yet!

I am still having various phantom symptoms but I don't think I can really tell yet. My current one is feeling starving all the time and eating too much but I think I am being a greedy pig rather than pregnant!

I've got that symptom too Grin I can't stop eating! FIngers crossed for you, my friend only tried for one month for her first and two months for her second! It can happen Grin

We have unexplained infertility. Had loads of tests but nothing wrong apparently.

I'm off for a wander...via the loos.

Well now I have spotting for first time ever, grr! So am obsessively knicker-checking. Hope you are still in Trying.

Unexplained fertility sounds a pain because if they don't know what's wrong they can't fix it but maybe the Clomid will just nudge things along for you.

oh no, although after spending about 18 hours googling all sorts of eventualities spotting could be a good sign?

Nothing yet for me, but it seems Clomid can mess up your cycle so I'm back to not holding out much hope.

I don't know what's happening? I have no cramping or anything at the moment.

Im on CD 32 and its driving me mad! I have sore boobs, cramps, backache, wind the lot haha! And never being full! (I could juat be being a pig tho!)
3 tests later and no BFP! Argh! Fingers crossed for you all!

Still nothing here for me either! I'd just rather know one way or the other, but think there's no point testing until at least Sunday if it's the Clomid messing with my cycle.

I'm out too. I'm completely gutted. I feel like I could cry all the time. It's such a private heartache too, in public im so breezy about life.
