Preeseed

Sorry in advance for TMI! - But due to a problem I have (non-fertility related) I HAVE to use a lube when DTD, and have been using Preseed now for the past year after someone told me Durex/KY etc. can be harmful to sperm... So she recommended this to me (she's a nurse).

My question is, has anyone here ever actually conceived using Preseed? I've read so much online (as you do), and there seems to be really mixed reviews on it, some say it's really good, others say not to use anything as there is no such thing as "good lube" - Well when you physically can't not use anything, that makes things a bit difficult!

I guess I'm just paranoid, and looking for anything that I myself might be doing wrong in TTC before I head back to the dr's and demand a fertility test! So wanted to rule out the lube option!

Thanks in advance :)

I didn't seem to be producing as much EWCM as i used to so i tried preseed. Various other unrelated problems made me feel it was possible i would't conceive again....but the first time I used preseed resulted in a BFP- 4 wk old DS is lying on my lap now asleep. So I'm a big fan of preseed!

Typo - would NOT conceive again

I use something called a fertility lubricant - no particular name, but I bought it at Boots. I conceived using it (I think). Unfortunately I lost the baby, but I did conceive in the first place.

ok cool thanks, I'll keep trying it then and fingers crossed! I have seen the conceive plus advertised as an alternative but don't want to switch (and pay out for another bottle) unless I really have to! Smile

The problem with lubes like Durex is they can make it harder for the sperm to swim - obviously not what you want right now! I know the lube I've got aims to do the opposite: it's the right pH and saltiness for them to survive, and the right consistency for them to swim. I assume Preseed is the same? I take it you're sure you ovulate btw?
