Hi am a bit confused by the dual hormone clearblue kit I'm using. I didn't have a high fertility reading this month but went straight to peak fertility yesterday. Wondered if it was incorrect as I had had a wee during the night so thought I'd check again today. But the smiley face hasn't cleared. On the leaflet it says the peak fertility symbol will stay for 2 days - which I thought meant would appear on two tests - but now I'm thinking it means will literally stay on the monitor for 2 days? Doesn't really matter as dh is away anyway but am just a bit confused by the instructions!

Hi there, the symbol will stay on the monitor for 2days to remind you that you're peak fertility (likely to be ovulating) than it will disappear and you can resume testing again.

It's a shame your DH is away as would be ideal time for dtd. Good luck next month!

He only went yesterday so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for this month!! Why would I want/need to test again this month? Once I've had a peak fertility symbol isn't that it until next month?

You don't test again until next month x

Sorry I didn't mean start again straight away. I meant you can use the same display module thingy and any left over sticks to test again next month as peak will only stay on for 48hrs, then it will reset. Some folk were chucking them away and forking out for a new one.

Oh I see - thanks!
