:( have you and partner/husband had any tests to try and find out if there is a reason you are having difficulty. My mom was trying for 2 years and after a miscarriage in the first year she had a son, at the age of 40 :). Her and her partner were going for tests and I know she did take a tablet/supplement to try and help her concieve. And she did catch with my little brother without the need for IVF etc. I am actually pregnant now however I can relate to the feeling of really wanting a child as I had a stillborn daughter last august and after that the only thing I felt would make me complete was to be a 'proper' mommy. So I never had trouble conceiving for me it is having a baby at the end of a pregnancy. This is now my 5th pregnancy after having 3 miscarriages and a stillborn. But keep on at the doctors if you haven't been referred keep nagging them to! And I pray you get your little one :). I will ask my mom more info on the tests she and her partner had to do aswell hopefully tha can help you xx

Hi dildoos. Sorry about your mcs. Has your OH had the DNA fragmentation test? It might be something to think about. Unless they can find the cause and fix/improve it, there is not much they can do other than ICSI though.

coco2303 · 09/06/2013 16:45

Dildoos sorry for your losses aswell. And I do understand what you mean when everyone and their dog is pregnant haha. Is there anything else that the doctors have said you could try? I really really hope it works out for you. Have you been referred to recurrant miscarriage aswell? If not its worth pushing for that aswell xxx

dildoos · 09/06/2013 20:12

You might want to join the elderberry pavlovas thread dildoos. It's generally mid 30s women who've been ttc for a year or more. I find it quite refreshing! It's a great outlet for slagging off the likes of people who constantly post scan and bump photos on FB after getting pregnant after all but a month of ttc!
