Hi all.

I'm completely new to this so please be lovely Smile...
This is my 2nd moth TTC and I'm 1 day late. I've had no real symptoms, other than some light headedness, which lasted around 4 days. I've also experienced a bit of pain in the lower left part of my tummy...not sure if I've just pulled a muscle??!

I was due on yesterday, however have no bloating/cramps/headache, as I usually do around AF.

I'm trying not to get my hopes us, and don't want to test until my husband is home later tonight...I'm just wondering how likely it is that i'm PG.

It's early days, and I've read so many stories about it taking a while so don't want to be overly optimistic?

Can somebody offer any words of wisdom? I can't concentrate on anything!!

Thanks,

Emma xx

Fingers crossed for you! You are more likely to get a positive test with first morning urine as its less dilute, so potentially wait until first thing tomorrow rather than this evening? Although no harm testing tonight, just means that if it comes up negative then it may be wrong :)

Hi Emma. Without know how regular your periods are it's hard for me to say, but why not take the test anyway. You wouldn't really expect any symptoms being 1 day late. Also remember even if it does say negative a positive test can take a few weeks to show up.

Good Luck. Do et us know how you get on xxx

Hi both. It's Emma...new name :)

Thank you everybody...I did 3 tests last night and one this morning ( I think I'm getting hooked)...and they were all positive!!! YAY!!!!!

Absolutely over the moon. I thought I would have to visit the doctor but apparently I just give them a sample for them to test themselves?!?!! My illogical mind is starting to panic that my tests were all faulty and the doctor will tell me I have it all wrong, but...surely not?!!

EEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!

Aww that's wonderful news Emma. Like your new user name B.T.W I'm thinking of changing mine as well as I'm bored of it. Anyway that's another story.

Congratulations!! I am very pleased for you. Although I am very jealous (L.O.L) as my A.F has just arrived. XXX

Also Emma (wonderland bride) A lot of pregnant women have that fear that the test is wrong but a positive test can not be wrong. Is this your first baby? xxx

WonderlandBride · 07/06/2013 11:27

Aww C999875, i'm sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed for next month.
The username comes from out Alice in wonderland themed wedding :)

Yes it's my first and both me and my husband feel clueless! So a positive test definitely means positive? I've read online about people who got a BFP then a BFN at the doctors...although they were early testers and I waited until AF was a day late...

I've honestly got a million and ten things going through my head...i'm at work atm but just can't concentrate! XX
