I am not ttc, but aged 35 and would like to hope I could in the future if the circa were right. But my cycle is getting shorter and shorter. Is this a bad sign? I ov 6 days ago and started bleeding already. Any ideas?

Hi - I would imagine it was unlikely that you were perimenapousal at 35 (is there a history of early menopause in your family?)

6 days sounds likely a very short luteal phase (from ovulation to period) and can be caused other medical issues so would definitely be worth checking out with our GP who will be able check your bloods for you and maybe refer you to a gynae. I had some very weird bleeding in my late 30's (every two weeks!) for several months. They didn't establish the cause and I went back to my regular cycle after about 4 months. Had nothing to do with being peri-menapousal though and I am 10 weeks preganant at 43!
