Hi all,
Ive had the implant in for just over 5 years now..
Me and my partner want to try for a baby.
I'd love to have a due date for around June time.. so I have around 3 months to fall!! But how quickly did any of you that have had this out fall pregnant? should I be getting it out and and trying to conceive.. or wait until September time??
Im 24, healthy, normal weight and this will be my first baby.
My partners early 30's and had three children.
NEVER been so excited!!! :D

I hope it doesn't seem like I'm following you round Mumsnet - haha!

I would recommend having your implant out in advance of trying to conceive, if possible. It can take a while for your fertility to return - up to a year according to GP's. Equally, it can return quickly for some people so best to use a barrier method until you're ready to start trying.
